Fantastic Performances and a Great Story
The full cast production successfully draws the listener into the story. It is always great fortune to encounter an amazing tale with an ensemble that is able to deliver the goods. I repeatedly found myself wanting to delve deeper into the origins of many of the familiar and unfamiliar characters along the way. It is not required to enjoy the experience, however I believe the extra effort makes the great array of references even more enjoyable. The appendix and additional material after the main story is worth your listening time as well.

wonderful ensemble performance!
My first venture into Gaiman's works, and was not disappointed. A thought provoking and entertaining story of American culture and immigrants, mixing with Greek mythology, science fiction and romance. The ensemble performance was exceptional.

On belief, sacrifice, & the New World
The cast in this audiobook is great, and the story is even greater! From the very normal opening, this epic quest spans time and many corners of the world (& some beyond this world), in a modern adventurer's tale that wraps up with a great epilog from the author about writing the book.
