my first trip with Mr gaiman
decided to snatch this up after watching the show. one of the few times I will say this and only because I feel as though my mind couldn't wrap my head around the words. the show was better in my opinion. most of the scenes were very visual and sometimes I just couldn't see what I was hearing. thankful for the works, and enjoyed the listen.

Neil Gaiman is just good at what he does.
I have grown up reading Gaiman, so anything I say would be biased. I came into knowing the story, and wanted it performed that way. I can appreciate the difference between a book and a TV show or movie for story and time, but a good audio drama is where it's at.

Intriguing perspective on America
This novel's plot is involving and surprising, with an outstanding protagonist and mysterious story line. Excellent narrative cast, especially protagonist Shadow. The number of characters, some with similar accents, sometimes made it confusing and difficult to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys. That may have been intentional, since one point of the book was that good and bad guys are often interchangeable.
This book requires the reader's serious attention, because of the number of characters and the complexity of the concepts. I didn't want it to end.

I’m partial to Neil Gaiman as an author... I think he is absolutely incredible. This is my favorite book that he has written. The story is insane and the acting is great. I have no words to describe how much I love it, and recommend it 1 million times over

Great cast recording of a great book
This recording features a very talented cast performing the book. It is a really fun listen and it's nice to hear Garman reading some of one of his most famous works. The story centers on Shadow, an ex-con who gets drawn into an adventure that takes him all over the US.
