The best fantasy novel of all time
I dont know if george will ever finish the series. But I do know this book is the best in the series. To those who have only watched the show this is when things start to differ a bit. And by the end of the book you can tell things have really diverged from the path the show runners took. This has to be the best fantasy novel of all time. So much happens but it never feels overwhelming like the later books kinda start to. This is just pure brilliance at all levels. The late Roy Dotrice performs this audiobook well and brings life to every character he performs. I'm telling you to read the entire series JUST so you can get to this freaking awesome novel. Also I really love the ending to this one has to be my favorite last chapter of all the books as of 2021.

Book was fantastic!
Love all the action and different voices Roy Dortice uses! It was a bummer that the chapters said didn't match the listed chapter name. Some how I listened to part 2 first. I'm not sure if was just a download problem?

Great, but..
Only thing I can nitpick is that the guy reading has a very distinct old man voice, which kinda makes it sound like all of the characters are older than they are supposed to be. Very enjoyable though, and he puts a lot of emotion into the characters’ dialog.

Great book, ok reader.
If you've seen Game of Thrones, I'd suggest finding another orator. His pronunciation is very bad with key words and names, it's pretty distracting. Other than that, fantastic
