Worst acting ever!

What would have made A Small Percentage better?

Should not have been done as a audio play. Should have been voiced by a single actor. Get rid of the cheesy sound effects. The lady who did all the female parts did was simply terrible. All her characters were in her voice. Her acting was dismal. I almost stopped listening several time because she was so bad. Some of the quite a few of the male parts sounded alike also. Needed much better actors.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The story was fairly interesting and I feel sorry for the author that his work should be so poorly produced for audio.

Would you be willing to try another one of the narrators’s performances?

Absolutely not.

Really bad

The book is below average. The dialog is dull and lifeless. But it's the quality of the audio rendition that really merits attention. The narrative is bad enough to embarrass a HS drama dept. Whereas a good narrative easily has you imagining the scenes and the character interaction, this narrative makes you imagine 3 utterly bored people sitting at a table reading their lines.

decent story, poor writing, terrible narration

I listened to this unimpressive yarn all the way to the end and it was diverting but not well written and the dialogue was not very memorable. The characters were not well developed. I was entertained on a long drive and I did want to know where the train wreck would stop. My biggest complaint concerns the narrators; They were TERRIBLE, well two of them were. One guy sounded like Tom Bodette Motel 6 spokesman and the woman had only one voice for all her characters. She read her lines in a very wooden fashion with a strong southern accent and I mean strong. Granted they did not have much to work with but good voice talent could have made this good story with bad writing work.
