Spring brings a traveler to Nova Scotia - a tiny babe who will turn Marcus's life upside down and reincarnate the horrifying events of his past.
Can Marcus find his way through the pain to love and healing? And can the witching community finally learn to keep their astral travelers safe?
A Nomadic Witch is book four of the top-rated A Modern Witch series. Light contemporary fantasy with a good dose of humor, a little romance, and characters you won't want to leave.

Yes! I absolutely love this series and characters. The witchcraft brings unlike folks together and provides the basis for a large "family" and lots of fun. At the same time, these folks experience the same sort of things 'regular' folks do, birth, falling in love, sickness, death; many times with a huge magical twist. Regardless as to what is going on, there is always a sense of belonging, togetherness, caring, and love.
I've said it before in other reviews and again here. I love all the characters and the way Martha Harmon Pardee 'reads/speaks' them. I easily follow the shift from one character to the next. Probably one of my favorites is Aunt Moira; I love the lilt in her accent.
I don't really want to give any of the book away, but will say that there was many a moment in this story that was heart-wrenchingly sad... But... The sadness is always balanced by happiness...
I can't wait for the next books to be released. I've gotten all five of Debora Geary's books and know there are more. Audible, please record the next ones and get them released!!!
Yes. Great story. Great narrator. I have really enjoyed this whole series.
When Marcus finds Evan in the mist.
Aervyn ... 4 yr old super boy witch.
There were several scenes that I cried real tears. The pain and sorrow Marcus still feels at the loss of his twin brother still rocks me.
The healing power of love, laughter, and baby raspberries shines through bright and clear.
I really love these books! They are a sweet, warm, and funny respite in my hectic day and always leave me feeling happy.
I am a true audible addict.
From the moment the Narrator begins you are part of Witch Central. These books are truly delightful and entertaining. You will be able to read this series again and again. This is my second time to listen to them and they are just as good as the first time. I highly recommend this series. The narrator brings them to life and leaves you wanting more. I wish they hade all of her books. This is a must read. Enjoy. I did.
Love listening to Sci-Fi and Fantasy on the way to work!
I'm not sure why these books have pulled me in so well, I listened to the first on a whim, and have been listening to them as soon as they show up on Audible since. I'm not sure why, perhaps it's due to these books not following the standard formula, at least what I normally listen to, they do not seem to have an epic story/quest like a lot of books, to some extent you are following the characters around in their daily lives, granted they are witches and some amazing things happen.
Several of these books, and a few others, she does a good job, makes the different characters unique enough to know who is who.
Really love these books, as long as they keep putting them up on Audible I'll keep buying them.
This is ear candy! A fun lighthearted look into the fantastical life of witches. Deborah Geary does a wonderful job of creating fun, loveable, and energetic characters. Be ready to smile through the whole series.
What to say about, "A Nomadic Witch?" I suppose there's one story that every author just has to write; if for no other reason than to clean up the soul and give wings to a loose end which refuses not stay tied. Perhaps this is one of those tales for Deborah Geary. I honestly have no clue. As for me, this is a story which I absolutely did NOT need to hear, see, or read. I was perfectly content with the existing loose ends - They gave the series a bit of mystery and a little extra class. Up to this point, I have loved every book in the "Modern Witch" series. This one I could have done without. You, on the other hand, might like it. Enough said.
