Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

finally finished

I've been re-reading this series for a long time. Finishing with series is like saying goodbye to some old friends. Brandon Sanderson did Robert Jordan proud. I feel really sad and very happy at the same time. I will re read this series many more times. An epic story. I love all the characters and how multi facetted they are. Robert Jordan brought depth to the world he crafted and made me care deeply for it

Truly Perfect

I can only say that this series is in every way 100% worth reading. Thank you Robert Jordan, for creating such a beautiful universe filled with amazing friends I never knew I would have. Thank you Brandon Sanderson, for giving such care and love to a something that was not yours, and in truth something that was not Robert Jordan’s. The Wheel of Time belongs to no of us and all of us. There is no ending or beginning to The Wheel of Time.

Can't wait for the Series!

It is so very difficult to express my gratitude for this excellent work of Art.

Thank you Robert Jordan, his wife and Brandon Sanderson for allowing us to have the completed story as it was intended.

After Mr. Jordan's death, I put the books down. I recently decided I needed to finish them. I am very glad I did! The story, albeit long, is quite engrossing and told by a truly great author.

Mr. Kramer and Ms. Reading are true artists in their telling of the story. I will look for both of them on other Audible books.

Thank you to all who made these books possible.

*Note: We REALLY need these turned into movies or, better yet, an HBO series!

Well done, truly well done

The ending of an amazing story that has been part of my life for so long.

I honestly did not anticipate how it would end and yet it wasn't the anti-climatic disappointments you sometimes get. Neither is it the overly ideal climax where it shows the protagonists and supporting characters to be too good to be true and everything is exaggeratedly awesome.

Simply put, it was fulfilling. It made me feel happy, sad, angry, disgusted, proud, excited, nervous, anxious, and so many other things.

Characters I didn't like I fell in love with (except Gawyn, really don't like him from the start until the end) and those I loved before made me less fond of them. Not in a bad way but in a way that it balanced out.

In short, the final book was just RIGHT... It fit so well to how you can expect the characters to have played their parts. I mean I have speculated for years on how the "Last Battle" would play out yet none of it would have been fitting and natural as this.

This is the second time I have read this, it won't be the last time, and I feel like I am losing a life companion. How I wish I could join their world and see the wheel turns and how the pattern weaves on.

As for the performers, no one else could have done the Wheel of Time any justice except Michael Kramer and Kate Reading. They have a natural gift for bringing the characters to life.

A long time waiting

For years I have read waiting for a story that would capture my interest so deeply I almost gave up. I am glad I found this series way after it was finished. I am not a patent person, I would have hated to wait each and every time for the new chapter.

The characters are rich and endearing. When I stood excited reading of the return of that loved Isidie I knew why I read/listen all 14 books.

My head exploded from the awesomeness!

If you could sum up A Memory of Light in three words, what would they be?

Fast paced, fly by the seat of your pants!

What other book might you compare A Memory of Light to and why?

None, I have not had the fortune of reading another book as good as this one.

Have you listened to any of Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am a big fan of Michael Kramer and Kate Reading's work. This is their best by far.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I listened to it to and from work in the span of a couple of weeks.

Any additional comments?

Buy this book! It's awesome!

Incredible Series

Loved the series, epic tale of life and adventure.
Towards the end was disappointed the narrations fell. Names changed (due to pronunciation) and many characters started to sound 'robotic'. Having listened from the beginning I found myself mentally 'correcting' the narrators as they had introduced me to the characters. Changing the pronunciation of names was distracting.

Amazing Ending

It doesn't get any better. Epic in all it entails.
Start at book 1, and listen to the finish over the course of a month.
A+++
