Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

A fantastic ending to a fantastic series.

The narrators were top notch from start to finish of the entire series. The story lept me tied and coming back. Rest in piece knowing that your legacy was carried out gloriously Robert. Brandon, I already loved your work and you did Robert justice by your writing of his story. A series I intend to revisit and share with friends and family. I loved every second.

Finally, the conclusion in all it's splendor!

Where does A Memory of Light rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

AMOL is one of the best audio books I've read, but then again I can say that about any of Jordan's work. Kate Reading and Michael Cramer are two of the best readers in the business.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Memory of Light?

When Egwene died.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are far too many to choose one. If your a long time WOT fan, you should enjoy every moment.

A Very Welcome Ending

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend it, in fact I have. It is a very good read. I spend many hours driving, and this was a good way to pass the time without relying on the radio

What did you like best about this story?

That it is finally finished, and finished the way that Jordan wanted it. It kept you guessing on who will survive, and who wouldn't most of the way through. Also it finally has Lan doing what he does best.

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

They both kept about the same pace, and changed inflections of their voice dependent on the character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes there were several moments that moved me along much of the emotional spectrum.

Any additional comments?

This book is about 50-100 pages to long. From what I have heard from interviews with Sanderson, he really tried to give homage to Jordan and really encapsulate his writting style for the series. Unfortunatly the attempt was more like books 5-9 which were the worst of the series. Don't get me wrong, this is a good book. It is well written with great attention to detail although sometimes to much attention which is why I said it could have been about 50-100 pages shorter.

Yes I would recommend it especialy to anyone who has followed the series. Not so much to those that havn't.

All the treads are pulled together, with stunning surprises. Sanderson's treatment of Howard's work is perfect.
