Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

Satisfying Conclusing

The narration is captivating and helped me visualize the story in a fresh light. There's nothing worse than a story, especially one this long, that doesn't end well, but I was very satisfied with how everything came together. I can't believe it's over!

A series for all times

This is an absolutely amazing series. It takes you on a journey that keeps you riveted and wanting more. Robert Jordan is amazing and Brandon Sanderson did him justice by taking on the task of finishing this series after Robert Jordan passed. I have read this series start to finish, twice and have listened to it on Audible just as many times.

Tough to get through but worth it.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Memory of Light to be better than the print version?

After so much time spent with characters over the years, it will be difficult to experience some of the tough choices in the book. I had to take some breaks. It's still worth the read to complete the series. Well written and as always well performed.

Wow

If you could sum up A Memory of Light in three words, what would they be?

Sad to see the series come to an end, but it was an amazing ending! Thank you Brandon Sanderson for a wonderful book. I loved the performance too. So glad that the same people did the whole series. Amazing!

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

Amazing!!! They brought the books to life in a way no others could. Even when I reread the books myself, I still hear their voices. I have actually sought out other books that they performed based on their performance on these,

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Bawled my eyes out and even laughed a few times through the tears... literally sobbing at the end. So sad to see the series end.

An ending, no, just another beginning

Any additional comments?

Many years of following the wheel as it turned have now culminated in the conclusion of one of its cycles, what a simply fantastic journey it has been. The conclusion was epic, with many, if not all the questions answered and cycles completed. Thank Mr Jordon and Mr Sanderson, you have given me and others a great deal of enjoyment and filled our lives with a rich and inspiring world.

Could it have been better, like all things in life of course it could have been. As work of literary fiction though it is one of the greatest ever written.

So jump onto the wheel as it turns towards Rand, Matt and Perrrin, revel in it as it spins its path through many twists and turns and then enter a new age at its conclusion. You will laugh, cry, get highly irritated by bickering women, curse the forsaken, mourn lost battles and friends and feel elated at the victories. You will though be left feeling your life is slightly emptier as the wheel enters the fourth age and you close the final page on the third.
