Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

14 books, 1 story.

This story is amazing! The slow evolution of sight and cognition of the characters throughout the series is incredible. There is but 1 last battle. The action is described in ways I have not read or even heard described of previously. Truly amazing end to the Wheel of Time. Thoughtful and elegant to split the true last book into 3 to enclose all details flawlessly as if a real story was being unveiled through clarity of time passing. Looking forward to start all over again after a brief rest and diving back into my favorite favorite story of the Kingkiller Chronicles and the man with flame red hair, Kvothe.
Good night.

A real ending

Most fantasy have crap endings. Always rushed to an end. Did not feel this way with the final wheel of time books. Thank you Brandon... the real question is NOW WHAT!?

The End

The Wheel wove a brilliant ending to a remarkable series... As it, most definitely, willed.

Perfect End to a Great Series

If you could sum up A Memory of Light in three words, what would they be?

I have been reading these books for a couple of years now, so my anticipations for this book has been considerably shorter than most. Even still, this was a perfect ending to tie the series up. The writing is excellent, the presentation is deeply engaging, and all-told, I couldn't have asked for more.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mat Cauthon is just awesome.

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

Their ability to portray nearly 100 unique characters with nothing more than their voice. You can almost instantly tell who is talking just by their voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

We lose some good friends in this book, but I won't reveal who.

There is never an ending, only beginnings.

My all time favorite series brought to life by 2 of the greatest narrators! I have been reading this series for over 14 years now. Multiple times. it has helped me in times of need, sorrow, and pain. light! Death is lighter than a feather, duty heavier than a mountain.

Worth the effort

I have diligently listen to all the 14 books leading to the last battle. The series has been part of my life for the last 6 Months and I am now feeling a little sad and lost as too what to listen to now. As everyone seems to agree there were 2 or 3 books we could have lived without and I nearly gave up on the series after them, but they were necessary to get to the end and I am glad I didn't give up. The last 3 x books built up to the battle and the great ending.
I am sure Robert Jorden and then Brandon Sanderson actually partly lived in this world/age and they brought the reader into their world as well.

Bravo

Brandon did a great job in piecing the stories together. I was amazed at the entire series and loved how everything came together at the end. Narrators did a great job in bringing the characters to life in their reading.
