Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

Conclusion of an Epic

if you've made it this far in the epic you owe it to yourself to finish the series. The ending was better than I hoped. having just finished it after reading it for the last 17 years i am sad the universe of the wheel of time is likely finished. I will reread the series again after I take a couple years to digest it, and I would recommend it to any high fantasy enthusiasts without a second thought.

sad to see the end of the series

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lan just because he is what any warrior should be. willing to defeat his enemy at all costs

Which character – as performed by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading – was your favorite?

both Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are some of the best readers in any audio book i have ever heard.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

both, the characters are both funny and parts made me want to cry

Any additional comments?

the wheel of time is probably the best series i have ever seen. this book was a fitting end to the series and while it has ended and more books would ruin it i almost wish there were more books to expand on the wonderful world that Robert Jordan started and Brandon Sanderson completed

Great ending

This was a good ending to the story. Lots of action, finishing up the open ends of the story lines. The only thing I did not like was the voices of the characters were more pronounced. They should have kept them the same.

Fantastic ending to a great series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Really enjoyed this audiobook - I actually skipped a few of the later books in this series as it got so slow and tedious, and re-engaged once things started happening again (around book 10) but this book convinced me to go back and read the ones I missed - so altogether a great book - I think Brandon Sanderson did a great job of finishing the series off.

Yes, all 13 previous books.

(Spoiler) The death of Egwene.

Ended abruptly

I could have used more closure. I do miss the series now that it's over. Worth while over all

Epic ends

Si much happening in this book it was both hard to put down and often hard to continue.

Well played RJ. Nicely finished by Sanderson.
NOW I need a vacation.
