Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

At last!

If you could sum up A Memory of Light in three words, what would they be?

Plenty of action

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Matt because he was both humorous and heroic.

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

I preferred Michael because he took so many roles and did them well. He placed a great deal of emotion into his characters when needed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but it was a bit too long for that.

A perfect conclusion for the series!

Kudos to Brandon Sanderson for finishing this series, which might have left us all wondering "what happened?" after the death of Robert Jordan. I could complain that there were liberties taken with the Universe by Sanderson, but ultimately I enjoyed the book greatly and am thrilled at the ending.

A great way to end !!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Memory of Light to be better than the print version?

Yes. The audio makes this book come to life. The narrators are the best and have caught R.J. Vision.

What did you like best about this story?

In 40 hours you can only tie up and answer so many questions, but many were answered. Loose ends brought together. Sanderson's writing and creativity amplified R.J. The pace of the final book was great. I never wandered while listening.

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

They are the best. tones and voices - so memorable. I can hear Lan's voice right now.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

41 hours went by in a flash. I devoured it in a week.

Any additional comments?

Buy it.

A good, convenient ending.

How do you wrap up a 14 book series? Quickly. The ending is mostly serviceable, it is also ... convenient. Too many happy endings. Too many main characters killed with little or no fanfare. Too many spin-off possibilities left open.

A worthy end

This book was a worthy end to the Wheel of Time. The vision of Robert Jordan and written by Brandon Sanderson, this book sewed up all of the numerous threads that were everywhere in this story. The narration was great.
