Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

The Ending Of A Wheel

As of this moment, I have finished the Wheel of Time and can make a fair critique of the story.

In my opinion, this is one of the greatest works of fiction to ever have been written. Yes, it's not perfect and is slightly derivative; however, the length and depth of the wheel of time is astonishing and its characters feel real in a world that is unbelievably fleshed out.

When I began A Memory of Light I didn't think it would be able to end as smoothly as it did with only one book to go; however, I am glad to admit I was wrong. Brandon Sanderson did an amazing job finishing Robert Jordan's Legacy.
Thank you, Sanderson...

But most of all thank you Jordan, your work transcends time RIP.

best series ever. period.

the two narrators were incredible but the story itself was, like I said, the best. it's only fault was that Robert Jordan wasn't able to live longer and write more books. if only brandon Sanderson could have written more of them.

I fell ending lacked the finality that i expected.

I have been obsessed almost listening to the final 3 books in this series..It has been a long journey through all of them.
I expected Brandon Sanderson would certainly make it entertaining but felt he did not quite get the "Bombshell" ending I expected.
If this is because this is what Jordan wanted..then ..may he rest in peace..but he did not give the final book the "Bombshell " ending either.
Sanderson won me over with the series: Mistborn..AWESOME. Many others of his work as well. I fear I may not find another author that will stand up to these two authors within this genre of writing.
The overall series was very entertaining and filled many wonderful hours of listening..mamy hours of interrupted sleep..and probably many hours my husband would like to jerk my earplugs out because I was ignoring him..haha.
Overall, Excellent . And Now what am I going to listen to next?
Suggestions?

A Great Ending to an Epic Series

Great finish. Sanderson did an excellent job completing the series for the late Jordan. Really long, but not full of fillers. Action keeps up the whole time. Glad they kept Kramer and Reading throughout. I really hate it when they change narrators as in some other series.

Probably the best ending ever made.

A Memory of Light is the best book I have ever read. The way it takes the enormous interpersonal complexities amalgamated throughout the previous 13 books and wraps it up while playing with expectations and yet losing nothing is baffling. I cannot sing praises loud enough in regards to this piece of fiction. All that I could say wouldn't be enough and in the end all I can do is smile. It is truely a masterpiece. For those not yet familiar to the Wheel of Time I say this: read it and find out.

A bit more

There are a few loose ends that need taken care of, wish Brandon Sanderson would expand these books. The stories are great!

Great end

This last book was a great wrap up of the series. My tears were shed, my laughs were laughed. I'm so thankful for talented authors to offer us entertainment and escape from our sometimes boring lives.

Loved This Ending!!

I know there is a lot of controversy concerning this ended but I thought it was done beautifully!! I'm glad Sanderson was the one to finish the series. The only complaint is that it's over and nothing is going to hold a candle to it.
