Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

The only possible ending to this series

I have read many a series in my day and not 1 handles its end as reverently as this one. I laughed, I cried, I felt chills, and I loved this ending. the entire book brings about exactly what the series stood for and represented.
Now at the same time the voice actors knocked it out of the park. They brought this to a close with passion sorrow and joy in every word.

Having finished this emence series I feel lost, not knowing where my next adventure awaits. if i should find one I hope it can return this feeling I have right now.

Duty is heavier than a mountan, and death lighter than a feather.

Loved the series

I wondered in the middle of it was for me. I’m really glad I stuck with it. I came to love the fact that it was very, very long. Finishing it was like saying goodbye to an old friend. I just finished it and I’m thinking about reading it again...after The New Spring, of course.

Finality

Bittersweet but the end at last. May the light illumine you all. Light as a feather.

A Perfect Ending...

...and yet, there is no such thing as an end.

I revisited this series in audio format a few months ago and it was such a nostalgic journey going through the books again for the first time in many years. I was not disappointed and as the story moved along, I found myself so emotionally attached the characters, even more so knowing that the end of the series was near. I am sad that it is over and that concludes Robert Jordan’s creation. Brandon Sanderson did a wonderful job of completing Jordan’s work. In truth, I hope that others take up the pen and continue with the many untold tales hinted at in this epic world.

He came like the Wind.

Three years later, here I am at the last book of the Wheel of Time. My friends from the Two Rivers have all become heroes and march towards the Last Battle. I laughed, I cried, I literally shouted for joy. I'm only sad for it all to come to an end... but it is not THE end, just AN end.
