There is only one thing that Jefferson Nighthawk, the original Widowmaker, really wanted to do, and that was retire on a far-away planet and raise a garden. There were still two clones of him to keep the peace and carry on his legend. Unfortunately for him, his two clones have come to a disagreement. When a widowmaker takes on a widowmaker, everyone runs for cover. There is only one man who can stand up to the clones of the Widowmaker... the Widowmaker himself.

If you are a Clint Eastwood cowboy/Jack Reacher fan, you will love this story. It is, in fact a New Frontier western style shoot 'em up with lovely science fiction futuristic applications. While I enjoy esoteric science fiction as much as as anyone, the adventures of the gritty, cool, calm, confident, intelligent intergalactic bounty hunter are instantly engaging, fast-paced and pure fun to read.

I loved the +1 on the trilogy, easy read, each character is developed enough for a short book (less then 10 hours), love the idea of thinking of one person in 3 stages of they're life
I wish the book could have been twice as long & go into more sc-fi, it's more a spaghetti western taking place in the future, that's the only reason why I didn't give it more stars
BUT, it's a great read & entertaining & pretty original, the terminator might be a pseudo-cloning... Widowmaker
