Outstanding!

I can't get enough of the series. I love the story and the narrator...I think I'll re-listen when I finish.

Books good as always,

Books are always great but there was some performance issues as far as audio goes , and a couple characters voices changed as well not sure why.

the weak book in the series

just kinda dragged. allot of set up but no real pay off. Still interesting just lacking entertainment

A Feast of Crows Is a Feast for the Mind

A Feast of Crows is the Fourth Book in the George R. R. Martin very engaging series about courtly intrigue, war, coming of age, and so many other topics that are too numerous to mention. He's woven an amazing tapestry for the imagination and this book, just as the first three, is magnificent.

If you like "medieval" fantasy, you'll love this. If you like intricate plots, you'll love this. If you like a very well-written series of books, start with Book 1 and work your way through. These are books that are hard to put down.

Plus, Roy Dotrice's performance is wonderful. He really makes the characters come to life.

just do it

voice changes kind of messed me up but still a good book. if you're this invested in the series you might as well get this one over with.

Moved but stayed in place

This book sets the premise for the next one, there is not much action. I look forward to the next novel to see how the series unravels.

Worth the Listen - Enjoyed the Book

I agree with some of the other comments, the narration is different and not equal to the previous books, but I'm glad I wasn't deterred and enjoyed this listen. The difference is as if Roy Dotrice had 20 different voices for the various characters in the previous three books and only 10 or so in this one. Several of the voices sound similar and it is as if he no longer has the capacity or range, but he's still very good. I've always said it's the narrator who breaths life into an audiobook, if Roy hadn't narrated I would have been disappointed. His performance is more than acceptable, it's not perfect but who's is and this is a good book. I'm pleased at least some producers seem to (finally) understand the necessity for continuity. I have no complaints moving on to the next in this series it has been an excellent adventure so far, enthralling! Many thanks to Martin, Dotrice and the producers.

Not as good as first 3 books

Story lines are more confusing than first 3 books. Narrator is fantastic. Will still plan on getting 5 th book
