really enjoyed this audible book. I am tired of people commenting that everyone sounds like an old guy but I don't know if they realize there's a hundred characters in this book. trying to do a hundred different voices is impossible

Excellent narration
I love listening to Mr. Dotrice read these stories. Every character has their own voice which adds so much depth to the experience. (Hooray for voice actors!!) The books are incredible on their own. I would be sorely disappointed to hear a less thorough narrator.

I love Roy Dotrice's storytelling!
By book 2, Roy Dotrice has really got these characters down! Though some of the gals do sound like "old crones", he has done his best with the voice he has. I appreciate that very much. I have heard the book read by a female voice whom could not get ANY of male voices on point at all. I am now on to Book 3!
