good book bad reader
The accents change chapter to chapter for the same character and he pronounces half the names in the book wrong. Also adds extra "character" in the form of extra words not in the book for some characters. Not unlistenable but it can be annoying. Wish there were more options for a reader.

Nothing but excellence!
After watching the first season of Game of Thrones, after having listened to A Game of Thrones, I felt seriously disappointed by the performances in the show. Roy Dotrice is by far a better performer than any member of the cast. An excellent book made in to an even better performance!!

Incredible!
The narrator is incredible! His many voices, his ability to portray emotion and comedy and tragedy is almost as artful as the writing itself. George RR Martin is a genius; the way he created this world, his ability to guide you through this epic world of fantasy and adventure through the eyes of so many characters is just amazing

Terrific series
Having already watched the series I have come to the books for a better story. It has followed the plot of the tv show pretty parallel. I can not wait to see how it all ends. Hoping for a better conclusion than HBO did.

Limited Voice Acting, Great Story
Book Two of A Song of Ice and Fire has many solid character moments that the TV series Game of Thrones did not offer. This audiobook series is lacking in voice acting as compared to many other voice acting readers. The reader also mispronounces names from time to time, like saying Brine instead of Brien or Jeffrey instead of Joffrey
