Publisher's summary

2052 is a fast-paced, action-packed, heart-wrenching thriller. Eddie Upnick's characters are his greatest strength, as the reader feels attached to all of them. This is the final book in the trilogy. Time Will Tell & Future Tense are the first two books in the series. 2052 ties all three books together in a fascinating way. The beginning of the series saw the rebel scientists from a dystopian future travel back from 2133 to 1938 to attempt to change the outcome of World War Two in Time Will Tell. In the next installment, Future Tense, the youngest son of Clem Rizzoli (a protagonist from TWT), Vito, tried to tie up the loose ends his father had left behind some 20 years earlier.

This amazing final chapter, titled 2052, has Vito and Victoria (the daughter of the time traveler) and their supernaturally gifted children tring to save the world from threats from outer space. Get lost in this reality-based science fiction story, which is pure escapism at it's best.

Really great series.

I've finished all the books in the series, and I've enjoyed them all.
And this one is no different.

My new favorite series

This series had reminded me of Meet the Robinsons in the best way possible. This amazing family with each member being unique and yet still related is beautiful. I thought I would have a hard time remembering all the characters and how they are related. However, this no longer poses a threat because they are written so perfectly.

Great finish to a great trilogy

This book read funny to me. May have been the narrator. May have been the story.

Started out very much in first person in 2052, then went back to where we left off in normal story mode and went forward right past where we started without coming back to the teller of the story. More than once the narrator appeared to change. Two very distinctly different voices. The story sounded from beginning to end like someone retelling a story. The other books felt much more like you were a part of the story.

Over all, I did enjoy the book. I liked the story that was told. It did an excellent job of bringing the trilogy to a close. My only issue was the disconnected feeling that was felt throughout the book. Again, I do not know if it was the narrator that caused this feeling or if it was in the story itself.

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

entertaining enough but strangely thin story.

A lot of events packed into one book. Sometimes more background information would have been good. Good narrator though.

this book is great

this was the first book I ever got form audible and it was the greatest story ever kind got lost in the middle but me and my family were on a road trip and so we listened to the whole thing over the few day of the trip. then cam to realize it was the last of a trilogy. since then we have bought the other two book and they are just as amazing as 2052 if you like sci-fi, cursing, and family this is your book, just give it a try you won't be disappointed

Loved this trilogy!

Would you consider the audio edition of 2052 to be better than the print version?

Both were great.

What other book might you compare 2052 to and why?

Future Tense, same fast paced, can't stop listening enjoyment.

What about David Doersch’s performance did you like?

David was great reading various accents for the many characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

many...but when the Earth was facing total destruction, the family heartbreaking choices left me tearing up,

Any additional comments?

Great listen, truly.
