When a killer threatens his family before their testimony in a capital murder trial, Patrick Flint will do anything to keep them safe.

“Best book I’ve read in a long time!” (Kiersten Marquet, author of Three Reluctant Promises)

A peaceful day of skiing for the family. The murder of a prominent judge’s wife. A witness becomes the next target: Thirteen-year-old Perry Flint.

Patrick, his wife Susanne, and their kids head to the mountains for a day of skiing. At the lodge, 13-year-old Perry is the sole eye witness to the murder of a prominent judge’s wife, only days before the first capital murder trial in the state of Wyoming since its reinstatement by the US Supreme Court. Meanwhile, Susanne and Trish are gearing up to testify against ruthless killer Billy Kemecke at the trial, unless his criminal family can stop them first. With his family is threatened from all sides, Patrick Flint will do anything to keep them safe.

Sawbones is the third book in the suspenseful Patrick Flint series of thrilling mysteries, a spin-off from the What Doesn't Kill You saga. Available in digital, print, and audiobook.

Better than book 2

I enjoyed this book. It wasn’t as good as book 1 in my opinion but better than book 3. It kept me entertained.

Another look at Buffalo, Wyoming

Another adventure with the Flint family. Again it captures small town life. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series

Sawbones

This is a good series to listen to. There is a good storyline and good characters. This book and series is holding my interest. This is the third book. I will listen to this whole series. I do not like Trisha (The Daughter). She is so spoiled. Patrick is the star in the book. This is a Western type mystery. Pamula Hutchins does a great job narrating this book. Not sure why this is so highly rated..

Boring and slow. Narration makes it hard to listen at times. I bought the first 4 books in this series because they sounded so good after Longmire and Joe Pickett books. Zero comparison. Often of touch with life in the Rockies and outdoors. I tried to stick with this series, but just can't

Text Goes Here...

Sawbones is the 3rd book in the Patrick Flint Series. The point of view switches to each character, sharing their take on the situation....adds to the enjoyment. The plot is pretty complex and the characters rotate around the four person family. The book drags in the middle when Trisha, the teen girl, adds to the drama with some teen angst. I thought it detracted from the story as the reader kept saying: "Donnnn't dooo iiiitttt!" The book is set in Buffalo, Wyoming...a small town smack in the middle of the state and would be Absaroka County if this were a Longmire book. I wasn't impressed enough to continue my reading of this author as there are others who impress me more.
