Andrew Snow, a powerhouse in the running community with over 27 years of experience offers his highly acclaimed, results-proven triphasic model that runners have used to set lifetime PRs from the 5K to the marathon in as little as three months—even in their 40s and 50s!

Run Elite presents a concise structure that allows you to customize world-class training to your specific needs. You'll be able to predictably peak your performance on race day, even if you’ve been stuck at a plateau, injured, or believe you’re past your prime.

But it’s not just about the physical training: you’ll transform the way you approach your running by modeling the mindset techniques of the world’s best. You’ll finally have a clear approach for how to condition your mind to go beyond what is “reasonable” and reach your full potential—and it isn’t just about “pushing hard”!

Great overall training book

This book covers a lot of basic exercise physiology, training programs, mindset, nutrition, and how to put it all together. Plus, it includes several anecdotes using brief stories of big name runners.

Enjoyable and Informative

I recently purchased this book and then the audible version. I decided to follow along in the book as Andrew read through the pages. I felt as though he was right there in the room with me. He explained diagrams in a way that the book wasn’t needed. He also added humor and extra information to the book that made it so much more enjoyable than if he had just read the written words. I am so excited that I got these books. Thanks Andrew for such a great book.

The only running book you’ll ever need

Andrew totally hit it out of the park with this one. There's so much that I love about it, but here's what's at the top of my list.

Andrew takes the guesswork out of mindset. Through countless examples and a real roadmap, he gives what's needed to truly make the decision to be an elite runner, hit your goals, and do it without all the fluffy mindset stuff that is typically offered.

Also, the training section is epic. It's not just a cookie cutter traditional approach. He states this simply in the first Principle... Break the mold of how you "should" be training. I know it makes sense that we all shouldn't necessarily train the same way. We are all very different people, with potentially different goals, imbalances, and genetics. But Andrew gives the system for individualized training.

The diagrams, explanations, and references make this an extremely easy-to-understand and implement resource and guide.

If you're at all interested in improving your approach to how you train and start hitting your goals with more predictability and the feeling that you did everything in your power to get there, then this is a MUST READ.

Great First Half

The first half of the audiobook was a great listen. The second half is definitely still worth the time and has many gems to improve your running game, but ultimately I would recommend the printed version to take full advantage.

Great read, even better performance.

Working smarter is what I have been looking for. This book has helped me improve my running performance and feel less fatigue, something I didn’t realize was possible. Andrew spells it out In language easy enough for everyone to understand. I would recommend this book to runners at any level who want to make a big jump in their performance. I’m finally training smarter.

One of the best...ever

I started reading this book after the California International Marathon on my flight home. I have run my whole life, from high school through college at a division I school, and I've read pretty much every book there is on training theory. This has immediately jumped to the top of my list as one of the most practical and useful books on training, mindset & nutrition that I have ever read. I'm already halfway through on my second listen. I can't recommend it enough.
