OK... but buy on sale...don't waste a whole credit

your typical story of girl getting pressure from an overbearing parent to find a NICE guy.
our heroine choses her boss thinking that her mother would like him only she ends up in bed with is bad boy brother.
sparks fly, she likes him, he likes her, but she's afraid of her own bad judgment and what her mother will say.
like I said a typical read, but an ok listen... buy when on sale... don't waste a whole credit

quick light read

This was an entertaining light listen. I really enjoyed the story. Good girl gets the nerve to try to seduce her boss because he is safe and ends up with his older "bad boy brother". Except the "bad boy brother" really isn't all that bad...in fact he is really kind and considerate- she on the other hand is immature and sometimes irritating. It was certainly geared more for a younger readership. About midway through, I wanted to smack the chick and tell her to grow up and deal with her "mommy" issues. However, despite eliciting violent tendencies toward the female character, it is a fun story. I would love to hear other stories about the supporting characters in this story.

Surprised

I didn't know what to expect. I read other reviews and some people liked the book. Sometimes others like it, but you don't. This time it panned out. I enjoyed the book. Sort of predictable. The romance was a bit steamy, but it was a cute love story. Gabe was very likable -his love interest got on my nerves a little bit. All in all, this book kept my interest. I would try another book by this author.

Nice Surprise!

I have to say...I didn't expect much, and yet it was a good plot, with great characters, and some steamy scenes. Narrartor was good too, I would listen to something else from this author.

Not Bad

This book was a nice relaxing listen. No great surprises and no great wow moments. I think that there could have been a lot more to this than what happened. There was some good steamy moments. I like the characters but I feel like the author could have done more with them. I can't say that I won't listen to the other books because there is just enough to make you think it will get better. I would not spend the credit but because it was pretty inexpensive I will just buy them.

Romantic and Funny, perfect combo!

I laughed out loud during parts of this book. The narration was great, the story line quick and witty. The girl was judgmental at first but never judge a book by its cover, this is great. Love the push pull of the characters and suddenly realizing what you thought you wanted is not better that what you got!!!
