Publisher's summary

Life isn't worth living without an Internet connection. I'm always on the computer, video chatting, and even reading books on my phone.

It was natural for me to use the TerraMates app to find a husband.

I didn't know they would match me with a sexy alien who was afraid of high technology. TerraMates sent me to a mysterious planet where the penalty for having a smartphone was execution!

No technology?!?

I was give my this book for a honest review. Would you agree to give up all you technology and things that make our lives easier for a mail order marriage? This is exactly what Analee does, she leaves Earth and all the comforts of a working bathroom, Internet and even phones to marry a alien man in exchange for credits to pay for her future teaching school. When she arrives she finds out her new husband works for an underground technology group. She enters his fight but will she survive this and still want to stay married to him?

Great plot

Received free for honest review. This story had some surprises I wasn't expecting. Annalee from earth gets married to Jesse on a planet where electronics are banned. Annalee smuggles her phone and she is caught later and Jesse must save her from execution. Lots of action and romance and the narrators did a good job.

Unexpected

I was given this story for an honest review.

I wasn't sure what to expect how Ann and Jesse would interact. Ann's love of technology and Jesse's supposed shunning of it. There was the predictable conclusion to one action Ann made but I don't think everything that happen after that was predictable.

Overall it was an enjoyable addition to the TerraMates series. I really like using male and female readers for Ann and Jesse.

Wrong Alien, Right Man!

Another slam dunk by Lisa Lace! This book is chock full of action and sass! And of course lots of steamy deliciousness!

I absolutely love the fact that two people from seemingly different walks of life can come to love each other, and not only that. They can change the course of history together. A beautiful concept, and an overall lovely and exciting story.

The narrators were also spot on. They were very fluid, and told the story with so much passion. The world building was also extremely well described it felt like a place I could actually visit.

I highly recommend this story, and look forward to more. Keep it up Ms. Lace! You are a fabulous storyteller.

Jesse & Annalee's story - Terramates match

I really enjoy reading & listening to Lisa Lance books. Her stories are very interesting and I often have a hard time putting it down. The narrators did a great Job bringing the story to life.

I like stories written in dual point of views and HEA endings are my favorite! It is so nice that there are no cliff hangers. There is suspense, adventure, action, drama, intrigue, danger, & romance throughout the pages.

A world with no technology would have brought me to a holt! I would have ran the opposite direction! Lol Annalee was such a good character and I'm glad Jesse grew on me. He was a bit of a jerk at first but things changed over time.

A story that has on a little bit of everything!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would. The story as a little bit of all of the typical storylines found in romance books.
Some Sweet, some steamy, historical romance type storylines when they are on the alien planet that does not allow any technology. Just covers all types so there should be something for most people to enjoy.

Which character – as performed by Cassandra Myles and Noel Harrison – was your favorite?

I like Jesse. He is a typical male. Trying to be a good man, trying to be a good son and a good husband and trying to be a hero.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was very sad and yet very touchy when the couple are awaiting their death sentence and realizing how much they love each other.

The "Right" Wrong Alien!

I love TerraMates short stories because they are complete, have a great plot, and good mix of romance, suspense, and action.

Poor Annalee, she did not know what she was getting into when she decided to become a TerraMate and marry an Alien. TerraMates sent her to a planet with no technology! She's certainly a better person than me, as this would have been a deal breaker for me! However, like any sensible earth female, she's not parting with her cell phone, and sneaks it with her when she goes to the planet. Sadly, taking this "contraband" will cause her more problems than it is worth, because on this planet they will execute anyone who is caught with any type of technology.

When Annalee arrives on the planet to meet her future husband, Jesse, for the first time, she's thinking how sexy he is, but he's not thinking the same thing. However, he knows he must marry her, or risk losing the family's farm. In order for Jesse to inherit the farm, he must be married, but no one from his home planet will marry him since he's been deemed a renegade for something that happened in his past.

The day after Annalee and Jesse are wed, the Bureau of Purity come to their farm to conduct a search, and Annalee's technology "contraband" is discovered. Dread fills her as everyone meekly stands by while the Bureau is preparing to take her to be executed in two days. Before the Bureau leaves with Annalee, Jesse requests to say goodbye to his wife who he's only been married to for a day and whispers in her ear "Be ready. Don't sleep." A little bit of hope begins to grow inside Annalee as she wonders if Jesse will rescue her, and if he will make it in time.

I loved the dual narration, both Cassandra and Noel did a great job.

This was another great addition to the Terra Mates series. I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review!

Another good Tera mate story!

Want to be rich? All you have to do is marry an alien man for a year and bingo, you will be paid 500,000 units then if you want, you can get a divorce, but amazingly no one gets divorced and all is happily ever after!

That is the basic premise of each story, but they each have a new twist and they are a fun story to listen to. I think you will find that you will enjoy the stories too.

Great story!!!

Past versus future...is one better than the other...or are they just different? Jesse lives in an area where futuristic technology has been outlawed. Annalee is from Earth where technology is a part of everyday life. Can the present be changed or will all attempts at change fail. This book is full of danger, secrets and love. I loved it !
