Take a 3,000 mile journey with Amanda Pearson as she leaves the disgrace of a broken engagement and enters the work of a Quaker mission in the western wilds. The trip is fraught with danger, and Amanda is near death before reaching her destination. Among those she meets are an Indian woman who becomes her first convert and a half-Indian trapper who seems to be her biggest critic. But love follows her into the wilderness and will determine the course of her future. You are sure to enjoy this historical romance adventure from New York Times best-selling author Wanda E. I love Christian fiction and cozy mysteries. I'm blind now, so I listen to all my books.
I loved everything about this book. The setting, the time period, all of the characters.
Amanda. Her faith was amazing throughout this story. Also she was willing to learn about new cultures and ways.
She was easy to understand and I never tired of listening to her.
I'm hoping this is a beginning of a new series.
wonderful story, great old world struggle.
I have never read a book like this before.
I cant spoil the story....sorry
yes I was very unhappy when I had to turn it off.
this is a must read. The only reason I did not give overall 5 stars was the music through me off.
Tell us about yourself!
I did not use the printed version/ Therefore I have no opinion. In general reading and listening I find are usually a better experience; however, I am not inclined to buy or borrow a copy of the book.
I have no favorite character.
