There's nothing like a good-ol'-boy wolf. And ace security expert Ricky Lee Reed serves, protects, and seduces with all the right moves.... Sure, Toni Jean-Louis Parker has to be the responsible oldest sister to a crazy-brilliant clan of jackal siblings. But now she's cutting loose for some hot, sweaty, no-commitments fun - and the sexy, slow-talking, swift-moving predator assigned to keep her family safe is just the right thing to shapeshift her love life into overdrive. Trouble is, he's starting to get all obsessive wolf on her every time he looks in her direction.
Getting serious about anyone isn't in Ricky Lee Reed's plans. Hell, even now he doesn't really have a plan - outside of catching whomever is threatening this dangerously brilliant family. But the more he sees of Toni, the more he's howling for her. And whatever it takes to convince her that what they have is everything, well, this wily wolf is down for the sizzling chase.

Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
Another hit from Shelly Laurenston. This series is just fun with a bunch of crazy characters, you just never know what to expect from the shifters. Of course this series needs to be read in order, there is just too much going on from other stories not to. Although this book is one of my favorites the romance wasn't quite as good as others, only because there wasn't as much focus on it. Of course the straight up madness of everything makes up for it. Same narrator as the rest and she does a great job.
I love long car rides so I can listen to an audiobook. Cleaning is great when I can listen. Okay anything is great when I can listen. :-)
Yes I would totally recommend this series to a friend and even family.
I lover her accents with the characters. Even when she switches between the books the voices are still different. For instance, Ronnie sounds the same in all of the books. Charlotte is not using the same female voice in all of the Wolf with Benefits series.
How good Toni and Ricky are together. Perfect match!
Toni and Ricky are great because she can handle anything deal with the drama. I love that Ricky is so mellow and he just wants for the fun to come to him.
Her voice is perfect for Shelly's characters.
Trying to figure out what Livi was. I never would have guessed a honey badger. Love it.
Love all of Shelly's books and can't wait to get all the audio books.
Great narration fun to listen to always a good laugh. Definitely recommend spending a credit on this book. Am looking forward to next book in series although it's the last available throu audible
She'll Laurens ton does it again for me! I love this new world of shifters and togetherness. I love that she crosses ravia l and species lines and wrapping it up in a senual romantic bow. Toni and Ricky Lee's story filled with hilarious moments, but also touching.
I really love the narrator's voice. She pulls me into the storyline and her accents are great.
This one made me laugh out loud - dang this wolf is funny! The reader does a good job with voices and the story itself is one of Shelly's better ones. Highly recommend.
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
There is diversity in every one of Ms Laurenston's stories.. These are good, funny & entertaining stories.. Yes they are worth a credit/money.
Good Music Lover
I have loved this series since the first book. I tried, but I was never able to like Toni and her family. There was a meanness that was supposed to be because they were brilliant people. It never seemed to be an excuse for the way they behaved at times. Charlotte Kane was her usual perfect self. I loved Ricky Lee Reed and his slow drawl, but Toni just feels like a whiney mean girl. I could find nothing funny in the way she was with Blayne.
I love this whole series this book and the next one so far are my favorites and I am very glad that the Magnus Pack series is now being released and hope to see more books in that series also
I truly enjoyed this book. The kids (Toni's siblings) were hilarious! They were eloquent and funny I felt looking forward their interaction every second, even though I think the story was a little bit too long. The narrator did a great job! I usually prefer 2 narrators performance (male / female) she did very good with all the different characters (and believe there were alot!)
