Loved the book..the love the series

If you could sum up Wild Man Creek in three words, what would they be?

Love, dispare and fulfillment.

What other book might you compare Wild Man Creek to and why?

All (only 6) of the Virgin River Series that I have read have the same story line. Man meets women, one or both have issues but they find love and have bumps along the way. Just enough issues and love to keep you listening.

Have you listened to any of Therese Plummer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. She is great!

Mad me laugh, made me cry.

Sweet

This was a lovely read from the romance genre. I will definitely add Robyn Carr to the list of my favorite authors in the genre along with Lisa Kleypas and Nora Roberts.

Well the story continues. the characters are so interesting . these novels can't be set aside easily

Yes, good tension among the characters and sweet story.

The characters are "normal" people with "normal" problems. More real and less a fairy tail.

Wonderful! I love how the old characters aren’t forgotten as we get to know the new ones. I used to live in Ferndale and Fortuna and eureka area and would love to know where this small town was. And how big city people end up liking it when there’s nothing there. And you have to drive far away to go to doctors

An avid gardener's dream book

While I have enjoyed all the books in this series, Wild Man Creek is probably my favorite since Virgin River. To an avid gardener, this story is a dream come true! The main character leaves the cut throat corporate world, starts an organic produce farm in a small town and meets an attractive man. Love all the "town" characters, who elevate these books from sappy love stories to human dramas. Only drawback - some of the sex scenes border on soft porn; detracts from great story line.

Adorable addition to Series

What did I Like?
Again love the multiple threads of stories. Like that the characters from the beginning pop up continually. Like the little peaks at possible future characters (residents) of Virgin River

What I disliked?

Would like a few more babies to be on the way or being born. Think Preacher and Mike need to add to their families. Want to hear Aiden and Erin are with child. Wished the book had shared more about the marriage of Lilly and Clay on the reservation.

Didn’t need the jackass from Jillian’s past to show up and threaten her that was a thread of the story that was not necessary.

Would also like to know what is happening with Brady and Cheryl? Need Rick and Liz back in town and more with the Booth clan.

Great series you won’t regret it

I can’t wait for the series to be on Netflix. I am in suspense as I saw season 1 and anxiously await season 2. Beautiful story line. I laugh, I cry, get excited and surprised love it so much. Thank you for making my commute effortless with these books. So much fun.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild Man Creek?

I really connected to the main character when she was planting the garden. I cried right along with her

I have listened to several Therese Plummer narrations and I really like the emotion she brings to the stories. I feel the joy, sadness or whatever right along with her.

I loved this book so much! I have enjoyed the whole Virgin River Series. But this one was especially good. I laughed and I cried and I loved the characters. Highly recommended!
