Good but naughty and a bit redundant

Good Story but......

What did you like best about this story?

Overall the book was great. I like romance books with a strong storyline that includes strong, sexy men.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Clarissa Knightly?

Yes, but probably not one with so much sex talk. Her voice is a bit annoying with the naughty bedroom scenes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wanted to fast forward thru some of it because the writer is redundant and makes the love scenes go on, and on, and on.

Any additional comments?

This book had, in my opinion, too much talk about blow jobs and was just plain dirty in some scenes. I'm all about a good romance but this writer's books seem to get pretty naughty.

Give me more!!

I have been waiting for more of Lora Leigh's books to come out on audible. I cannot wait for more of this series. This is an awesome book. Lora Leigh does romance like few others can and this series fab. There are some great twists you won't see coming. I can't say too much because it would spool the story. If you like Lora Leigh you will like this book.

Loved the narration.

Had Me On Pins and Needles

I bought this for a while and ignored it; Big mistake! Huge! I loved the twist on the Southern belle and the hero was amazing, flaws and all. I can't wait to hear it again especially with Clarissa Knightly reading. Wonderful performance.

porn with a pretty good story

if you like porn this is for you. I like a little bit of imagination

first and last book by Lora Leigh but......

the story is actually well written from a strictly writing standpoint. I wasn't aware that her books were so focused and explicit in the sex scenes. I don't mind some but it got to the point where I rolled my eyes and fast forwarded those parts. they were very explicit scenes also. a little over the top for me BUT if that's what you're looking for this might not be a bad book for you.
Clarissa Knightley also does a great job narrating.

This one has it all

Great story, action, romance and sexy writing. This was a nice surprise in that it wasn't predictable and had some twists and turns that made it interesting. Lora Leigh books are always hot, but some have editing problems and can seem too predictable. This is, IMO, her best one yet.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!!

By far this is the best book by Lora Leigh I have read. I really liked the storyline. Well written characters and steamy love sceens. The love sceens were more realistic than fantasy. I have only read one other book in this particular series and I truly hope the remaining are just as good. Warning, be prepared to get hot and bothered with this one. This is a book I will read probably more than once.

I think it's along the likes of the soft erotica that people have made popular but this is way hotter & a better story!

I loved her voices. I could tell who she was when she was speaking.

Yes & I did! :)

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I see that there are more in the series just not yet recorded! They would be automatic downloads!

More sex scenes than story.

I enjoy the occasional sex scene within a story, but every other chapter started to get on my nerves. Ended up skipping chapters. Not my main purpose for reading.
