Publisher's summary

It only takes one night - one moment, one small snippet of time - to change everything. At 16-years-old, Sebastian Baxter taught me that. He taught me a lot of things. He never had to work for my heart. In some unexplainable way, I think it had always belonged to him anyway.

We spent years loving each other, hurting each other, trying to forget each other, but no matter how hard I tried, I could never erase the memory of him. His eyes, his smile, his touch - these are all things that are embedded in my brain, tattooed on my skin, and etched into my heart.

Some might think our love story is over, but deep down I know it's only just beginning. Because it's not about where the night begins, it's about where it ends.

Not the Best. But Not the Worst

First off the narrator on this book made it almost unbearable to listen to. She was so monotone and boring. I could hardly get through the book. Second off, the story was descent but the inner monologue got old really fast. There was just too much of it. The author did too much telling and not enough showing which is a problem some authors have and it makes books hard to read/listen to. The story was descent and was worth the listen overall, since it was free, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay to listen to it. It would have been a waste of a credit.

A sweet story with a little bit of angst thrown in

What did you love best about Where the Night Ends?

I loved the overall concept of the story . I am not normally a fan of a story that stretches out over a couple of years but this one was done well.

Which character – as performed by Sarah Puckett – was your favorite?

I didn't have a particular favorite but Sarah did an excellent job with all of them.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It definitely kept my attention.

Any additional comments?

I received this book for free in exchange for a fair and honest review.

A romance that defines Soul mates.

Romeo and Juliet have nothing compared to Tessa and Sebastian. If you lookup soul mates in the dictionary, you will see their relationship described.  This story will have you rolling on an emotional roller coaster. From laughter to tears, this story has it all and everything in between. Tessa loves with all her heart and body. Sebastian has never had a real relationship and yet he cannot live without Tessa. The connection is so strong it breaks time and distance. You will find yourself routing for them throughout the story. After 11 hours of listening, I wanted more and I hope there is a sequel.

Sarah Puckett has the perfect voice for how I imagined Tessa. Sweet yet seductive when she needs to be. Ms Puckett has a calm voice that is easy to listen too. She was able to portray the characters emotions and thoughts so that I was able to feel right along with the characters. She was able to bring the story alive!

Beautiful love story

I loved how the couple loved each other, and how Tess didn’t think she had a chance of winning Sebastian, but he chose her. Wish it had dual narration, but I loved the story!

Beautiful!!

This is a wonderful story of a love that grows through the years. It starts growing when Tess and Sebastian were young and obstacles that seemed to be insurmountable stood in the way of a powerful and beautiful love. But every time they saw each other throughout the years they discovered that it only continued to grow. Now when all the obstacles are gone, will they finally be able to go all in? Or will fear keep them apart forever??

I absolutely loved the angst and heartache of this story. I felt that the characters really brought everything to life and I couldn’t stop because I simply had to know what happened next! I highly recommend this book!!

A little angsty and a lot high school.

This book really should be a YA genre due to the fact the 85% is during high school years. Its only the last 2 hours that you enter the college years. But other than that it was an easy listen. Would have enjoyed it more had there been a male and female narrator.

Young Love

Where the Night Ends is a romance that spans over time. It stars with a chance encounter on a balcony at a party and turns into two young people falling head over heels in love. This was really sweet to read and see how they become close, fall in love, share special moments together. Like all good things they come to an end. With Sebastian and Tessa having differing images of their futures they walk their separate paths and live life, grow up, go to college. Over time they still run into each other and are still completely in love, but the timing is never right. The author did such an excellent job with this romance. I felt everything these characters were and I was rooting for them the entire time. I really liked the narrator and the only reason I ranked it 4 stars is because of the male pov. I really wish a male would've done Sebastian because Sarah Puckett doing it seriously confuses and makes me thing I'm still listening to Tessa.

A Sweet Angsty Love Story

This story was a sweet and angsty listen about Sebastian and Tess that meet in high school and then spans the next five years of their lives. The up and down emotional roller coaster this story takes gives your heart a good ride.

The narrator for this story was on point. She was able to give depth and emotion to all characters, male and female. I can't wait to listen to more of her work.
