Publisher's summary

Halcyon Holland is leaving her live-in boyfriend, taking their daughter and the baby in her belly with her. She's tired of waiting for the ring, so she buys herself one. When her ex doesn't reconcile their relationship, Halcyon begins to second-guess whether or not she compromised her chance for a happily ever after. After all, what man in his right mind would want to deal with the community stigma of "baby mama drama?"

But Zachary Bishop has had his eye on Halcyon since the first time he saw her. Without a ring on her finger, Zachary prays that she will come to her senses and not only leave Scott, but come back to God. What one man doesn't cherish, Zach is ready to treasure.

Not deterred by Halcyon's broken spirit, Zachary is on a mission to offer her a second chance at love that she can't refuse. And as far as her adorable children are concerned, Zachary's love is unconditional for a ready-made family. Halcyon will soon learn that her past circumstances won't hinder the Lord's blessings, because what God has for her, is for her...and him...and the children.

Short love story

Cute story although some parts of the storyline seemed rushed and some parts were a bit unbelievable. It was hard to get into the story more because the narrator didn't seem to embody all the characters.

I am so Spoiled!

I love Love Love Patricia Simmons Books. It seems to speak to everything I need in a day. The messages embedded are awesome. The real life scenarios. I love it! But I have to say! Once you've you heard Patricia R. Floyd Narrate one of these books....it is hard to hear anyone else do it. This is my culture and I think ....if you narrate one of these books, no matter who you are, do a better job of getting into the character. No this is not really a black white thing. But it waters down the experience when it is meant to be pronounced...sistah and you say sister or Chile and you say Child....I am just saying get into the culture and narrate with flare. This was my only draw back concerning the book. I really did not enjoy the narration. But everything else about this author and this story line....I love it and it has helped me. The narration important as Patricia is really in a category of her own when it comes to Christian romance novels. And us readers...want the whole package. We don't want to miss nothin'. Peace

One of my favorites

I have read this book several times and was very excited that it was on Audible. The narration was excellent. The narrator gave the story life.
