The master of everything has found his match. Jared Westin knows his reputation and likes it. He gets the job done. No emotion. No baggage. That's why his elite ops company, The Titan Group, is better than the best. They complete projects classified as mission impossible.
And then, in walks a woman as tough as she is sexy. His counterpart in every way, should he choose to admit it.
She's not willing to let her heart fall. Ousted undercover ATF agent Lilly Chase only answers to "Sugar". Jared is the only man who can see past her leather-and-lipstick demeanor, and that revelation is terrifying. She was fired for helping Titan on a questionable arrest she should've ignored, then partnered with Jared's rival on an assignment in Afghanistan.
Distance and danger do nothing to change her feelings. When she's left on the side of a mountain to die, an unexpected ally comes forward, and might open her heart.
The stakes couldn't be higher. Saving Sugar isn't a normal rescue operation. It pits Titan against its rival, Jared against his nemesis. Chasing Sugar's heart isn't a simple task, either. She fights him, fights them, always ready to run. When she becomes a pawn in a game of collateral damage, Jared must risk his life to save her - the woman whose bravado and surprising sweetness has given him the one thing he never had. Love.

I loved the first 2 books, the women can handle their own, but in this one Sugar, yeah she can handle her own and she has a rep, but whinny, childishly annoying, and bratty. I also didn't get her past with the parents, her mom. I would definitely recommend this series. Titan men are the rock. lol
Cristin is 3 for 3 with Westin's Chase. The story has plenty of action and suspense with the right amount of humor sprinkled in. I think it's the characters I enjoy most and love following their stories through the series. On to book 4!
Sugar was a bit much for me because she is a strong in your face character. She did have a lot of humor and that was fun but I really like Jared because he was strong enough to handle Sugar's character.
Jared. I love a strong hero and Jared definitely is that. He doesn't let anybody run over him and he takes care of what he cares about but in such a gruff way it's almost funny.
When Jared and Sugar finally realize they love each other. These two big bad people finally admit they have fallen and fallen hard for each other. Those are always stand up and cheer scenes.
The tougher they are the harder they fall.
I love the Titan Series! I hope for many more in this series.
It was nice to see the boss get a HEA. This has everything a girl could want, sexy men, guns, sex, and a tough female. Just because you fall in love doesn't mean you have to be a wuss. I am on to the next book on this series.
