Publisher's summary

When Denver-based Were blogger and founder of Honoring Our Werewolf Legacy (HOWL) Kate Stillman agrees to take on political "bad boy" Duncan MacDowell in a public debate about werewolf segregation, she's confident she'll sail through the challenge without letting down her guard. And what can go wrong while hanging out with the sexy Scottish founder of Werewolves Optimizing Our Future (WOOF) long enough to convince him his views on interspecies mating are mistaken?

Plenty, when Kate discovers that she's actually wildly attracted to her opponent - who by all accounts prefers dating human women! But what hope can there be when this irresistible werewolf-with-a-cause believes their future depends on Kate losing the argument?

fun installment

I'd like this installment in those werewolf series. it was nice to read a story that involved two werewolves instead of a werewolf human pairing because it took the conflict away from simply should I or should I not tell my secret. the two characters being in political opposition to one another made for a fun story and it was well done with neither one turning out to be completely right or completely wrong in their stance. which of course is often the case in real politics as well.

Wonderful Narration

I have listened to several books narrated by Abby Craden. I think she is awesome to listen to. She is able to use her voice to express the emotions of the characters.

Lets make Life ve not War

So far there hasn't been one book written by Vicki Lewis Thompson that I haven't enjoyed. The narrator Abby Craden did a great job doing the different dialogue and differentiating between characters.Sexy right from the start,a fun listen, can't wait to read about some of the other characters who have shown up in this story.

Couldn't quite get into this one

Any additional comments?

I liked the narration and it was a light, easy listen. It didn't grab me as much as the first two books in the series, but it was worth the credit and I'm sure I'll listen to it again. I think I might have gotten into it more if I were into Twitter, but occasional Facebook visits are as far as I go.

Bad Reader

I've always loved the book, along with all of her werewolf series, but listening to it on audiobook just didn't work. I felt like Duncan was talking in a Scottish accent with a lisp. I think the reader was trying too hard with the accent and some sections were regular english with the lisp part mixed in to make it sound Scottish. Overall it was bad.

This is the best of the series thus far.

This series is lighthearted and a fun easy read, and this book in particular I found I wanted to continue to listen, while the previous books I had no trouble stopping and picking the story back up sometimes days later.
