No strings attached.
It's not what I really want, but it's all he has to offer. He's filled with turmoil and heartache and regrets, but for two hours every Wednesday all he feels is me. How much I desire him, how desperate he makes me, how much I'd like things to be different between us. Real.
He used to be my best friend back before he got married. And now? Now, he's a young widower. It'd be wrong on so many levels to expect something more from him. So I give him what he needs. But I know I can't keep this up. I've already given him my body, my soul. I want him to have my heart. It might drive him away forever, but that's a risk I'm forced to take.

the writing seemed OK, the narration was great, (she was born for sex scenes), but the story was not good. the main character, Shaw was a jerk. he was mean to her and she was a push over and the relationship boarders on abusive. I would not recommend this book unless you like meaningless sex and a quick read.
I loved this short romance. From the minute Chloe and Shaw hooked up in the first chapter, you could feel the chemistry that only comes from years of friendship. Shaw and Chloe have been best friends since childhood. When Shaw marries another woman, and that woman is killed in a car crash, both of their lives are changed completely. How far would you go to heal your best friend? Should you tell him how you feel? Is it time to move on? Kendall Ryan packs so much into this short book...romance, angst, sadness, anger and of course steamy sex!
Lia Langola is amazing with the narration. I could picture the whole book in my head, a great listen!
Yes, This is a great short story, hot alpha male, steamy sex what more can you ask for.
I love Lia Langola's performances. She always brings the story to life and makes you fell like your a part of it.
Wednesday is short sexy book full of angst, but also some very sexy and hot sex scenes. Definitely a great, quick read that will leave you wanting more.
This novella is a great and hot standalone about two childhood friends Chloe and Shaw..
Shaw lost his wife suddenly after less than one year of being married. Everybody thinks Shaw must be devastated by Samantha's death. He stars coming to see Chloe, his best friend, to seek peace and the comfort he needs. Only on Wednesdays. He doesn't talk, he doesn't stay afterwards. He just leaves. This goes on for eight months...
It is time they confront their feelings and decide what to do about their secret relationship...
I have heard Lia Langola's performing other books and as always her voice is captivating and you end up forgetting she is narrating the book. Her voice is invisible and wonderful.
This book sucked. There was no character or plot development. It seemed rushed. It had potential but it did not live up to it. I got this book not paying attention to the author. I don't like any of her books. This was not, however, one of the worst of her books. I would not recommend this book.
Wednesday is a fast paced erotic novella.
Lovers of the genre who are looking for a quick read will enjoy it.
I appreciated the significance of Wednesday to Shaw and Chloe, a day that symbol such loss and later on, the start of a new relationship.
I would force Shaw and Chloe to communicate!
They have known each other forever.
In Wednesday, they have an intense sexual relationship but the emotional connection is missing.
Its missing and they both feel it but ignore it.
They both find satisfaction in bed, but are frustrated out of it. That makes it impossible for them to move on.
I loved Lia Langola's narration.
She added depth to a story and characters that at times frustrated me.
I enjoyed her narration of both Chloe and Shaw.
She made it possible to feel Shaw's pain and guilt (and thus easier to forgive him his asshole behavior).
She narrated Chloe's voice to perfection: her attraction to Shaw , her doubts about her sexual relationship with Shaw, her feelings of protectiveness towards Shaw and frustration at their relationship status.
I enjoyed Lia's narration in the past and Wednesday is another project.
Its not easy narrating a story that focuses mainly on the sex , but Lia pulled it off.
