So I was given this book at no cost for my honest opinion and I love love love this book. Let me tell you I love Alien Romance and yes it is true that the story really doesn't read alien like it seems like these are really earth men but with that being said the book is great. I love the fact that he is not who he appears to be...suspense. I love that she is hot but comes with her insecurities of being poor white trash compared to this wealthy alien... She is wonderful and he wants her. He protects her yet puts her in danger. I know this book has so much to offer for everyone and is just well written. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to hear more from Lisa Lace. I am a FAN!!

Where does Water World Confidential: A SciFi Alien Mail Order Bride Romance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have listened to thousands of books on Audible. The TerraMates series is one I love to listen to. I enjoy the alien romance genre and Lisa Lace does a good job with world building, character development and plot within this Genre. I am always looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

What did you like best about this story?

Jory and Ashlyn are both strong people. Ashlyn has been taking care of her younger sibling since she was 18. Jori was working with the Vandwa secret service. In Water World Confidential they both deal with dangerous situations and people. Although both thought that this was just a marriage of convenience, the natural attraction between them and the closeness they gain from dealing with the danger eventually brings them together. This leads to their happily ever after.

The best book of the TerraMates series thus far. I strongly recommend it.

This book can be read as a stand alone. If you read book one, however, the already established world and previously established characters make the story more entertaining. I enjoyed re-visiting Vandwa and seeing Jori from a different angle. I also like the premise of the book, an apparent bad boy working to make Vandwa better, save lives, and take down corrupt power brokers and their businesses. All while being denigrated for his apparent irresponsible attitude and lifestyle. Even going so far as to allow himself to be imprisoned to maintain his cover as a selfish rich boy.

The danger and suspense kept the story moving. It was easy to get engrossed in the story and it kept my attention. I listened to the story in one sitting.

I strongly recommend you get this book.

Great series!

I'm really enjoying this series, great sci-fi alien romance. The narrators just brought it to life. The story moves well and keeps your interest through the whole book. Looking forward to more Terra mate's coming to audible. I was given this audible book for my honest review.

Very enjoyable story

Great follow up to the second book in the series. However, it took me a little while to become fully focused on the story. For me, the beginning was a rather slow start. Must stress that it will not be a fully formed story without having knowledge of the preceding book, which was awesome.
SPOILER: I was very grateful that Jory had a story of his own that proved him the good guy instead of the villain. Sam's instance on enjoying her one year of purchased marriage, was a refreshing trait to have in a female character.
