Wasted Lust is a 321 spinoff, a full-length, romantic suspense filled with lies, secrets, and the power of redemption by the New York Times best-selling author, JA Huss.
A girl with regrets
Sasha Cherlin died the night she let Nick Tate walk out on her for a life of crime. Her very essence was destroyed when they broke their promise to one another.
A man with remorse
Nick Tate made his choice with her future in mind. He loved Sasha enough to know that leaving her behind was the only way to keep her safe.
A path to revenge
Special Agent Jax Barlow understands the bond of love and he plans to use it to get justice. Nick and Sasha will do anything to rewrite their past. He's counting on that to bring them down.
Author note: Wasted Lust is a standalone book, but, you have to be willing to go along for the ride. The Sasha character has a long history in all my other books (she was 12 in those books, now she's grown up). And it's a parallel book to 321, so new story, new characters, but same timeline and the plots converge in the middle. No spoilers for 321 in Wasted Lust.
**Includes a special bonus note read by the author.

I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
JA Huss has weaved her magic again because she has delivered another unique and compelling story that was gripping, was filled with characters who were complex and multi layered and, at the end of the book, all you can do is sigh and bask in the pleasure of it all when a storyline reaches its conclusion.. after the suspense, emotional angst, thrills, chills, tears, twists, bloodshed and romance. But would you miss it?.. not a chance - because you know you're going to get your monies worth out of this remarkable clever clever gifted Author every single time. Do I wish I'd read about Sasha in Julie's Dirty, Dark and Deadly series or listened to 321 before this book?.. yes, I know it wouldn't of changed my 5 star glowing review of this awesome standalone book - but it may have given me a better insight into the Company and the backgrounds of the characters involved or their histories (shrug) I don't know.. but I'll definitely be finding out.
Sasha had been a child assassin for a manipulative shadow organization called the Company but now she's all grown up and is trying to carve out a new existence for herself and when FBI Agent Jax waylays her plans he gives Sasha something else to think about.. an alternative life. But, the closer they get and the more they delve, the more confused Sasha becomes because her instincts are telling her one thing and her heart is telling her something else entirely.. and meltdown is only a breath away. So is Nick - the nucleus to it all - it all started with him and must end with him.. but where will that leave Jax?
An addictive rollercoaster dual POV storyline that had me listening way way into the night as I struggled along with Sasha for answers, for the truth, for a HEA ending that would eventually come at a very sad cost.. but his sacrifice and clever orchestrations led to new beginnings for those left standing at the end of a bitter-sweet day. Good narration too.
Worth a credit? Yes - never doubt a JA Huss book to deliver much more than she promises.
Amazing story, had me wondering what would happen next until the end. I love all your work Julie Huss, you have a way of writing that draws your audience in and makes us sit at the edge of our seat. Sasha was beautifully broken and a total surprise for me, and I loved how you allow everyone a moment in this book. Really enjoyed the ending you wrote, very much.
Ava and Tad did a wonderful job bring this story to life for me, Ava never fails to disappoint I think she was made for your books.
Say something about yourself!
This book was about love betrayal knowing who to trust . It kept me so intrigued that I listen to it in one setting. Her box make you wonder at every turn who is the person you should truly trust. But I found myself towards the end of the block with tears running down my eyes. Most books do not leave me feeling like this. But the two books that I have listen to from JA Huss had me trying to keep ahead of the book and guess what would be happening next. But that doesn't happen because when you think you have it figured out there's a turn that makes you think you had it all wrong. Wasted lost didn't have the sexual hotness of three to one but it was a fantastic book I wish we could get the rest of the books Audible. Since 321 and wasted lost are the last two books in the 12 books seriesread the book 321 before Wasted Lust.
I have chronic back pain. Had major surgery in 2006. Audio books takes my mind off the pain as I go through the day listening. Love Audible!
The story moved! The narrators did a wonderful job with the whole book. I was impressed. Even though this is the most current book and the "end", I will be purchasing and listening from the beginning! Great job!
I loved listening to this audio version of Wasted Lust after reading the story back when it released in June 2015. So may little details about Sasha and even Jax I had forgotten. Sasha is one of my most loved characters JA Huss has created.
Ava Erickson does a great job of being twenty something college student Sasha Aston.
I just have to roll my eyes and say 'really' when someone writes in a review that a fiction book was not realistic...come on now 'really'
This book had excellent reviews and I loved 3 2 1 and have listened to it many times so I know I'm the odd one here. The book was intriguing in the beginning but 3 1/2 hours into it, it couldn't keep my attention.
Ava Erickson and Tad Branson gave a good performance it's just the pace of this book is too slow for me.
I love how the author ties it all together! It is technically a standalone but it is better if you read the whole series. I love how this author ties so many different stories together. I was surprised by some of the links. Great work Ms Huss!! -Dink
Intense, complex and hot!
It's similar to JA Huss other books in the Rook and Ronin spin offs. Great passion but with a lot of substance to the stories.
Probably the final scene. I love to get it all tied up.
No extreme reaction other than I looked forward to the times I got to listen!
You can't go wrong with any JA Huss books on audio.
Loved this book when I read it and these voices are fantastic and really bring the story to life and a brilliant finale to the series x
