Photographer Dominique Jeffries has come to Wyoming to find herself - her creative self, her sexual self. After escaping the engagement from hell, she's dying to break loose and live a little. And seducing a shirtless, sweaty cowhand looks like just the place to start....
Nick Chance isn't exactly a cowhand but, hey, he'll be whatever the lady wants! Only he soon realizes that this is more than just a quick roll in the hay. There's something about Dominique that calls to him, something about her that completes him.
There's only one problem. Dominique wants a fling, not another relationship.
Little does she guess how easily she'll be persuaded to take a Chance - again and again and again!

"An American original, Thompson writes well what few others in romance can--seriously not serious novels about fun and humor and sex and love..." (Romance: B(u)y the Book)
First of the Sons of Chance series by Vicki Lewis Thompson.
I'd listened to books two and three before I found this one on Audible. But I was able to listen to it out of order without the story being ruined for me.
Dominic, after a recent break up with a long term boy friend, has come to Wyoming for a much needed vacation. The bed and breakfast, however, was full and they bumped her over to a room at the Last Chance Ranch, where a chance encounter with the youngest of the Chance brothers rapidly turns into a steamy holiday romance.
Although Dominic is determined to make sure this is just a vacation romance, the attraction between herself and Nick is undeniable.
When Nick discovers there's a family secret, focused on him, it's Dominic who is able to offer him the support he desperately needs to see him through the upset. But neither of them are sure it's enough to encourage Dominic to leave her now thriving photography studio in Indianapolis...
A well written story with a good narrator who brought out the feel of the setting beautifully.
Wanted was a remarkable love story with a beautiful ending, one love story I will long remember thanks to author Vicki Lewis Thompson and her creativity.
if you don't want anything too deep, these Blaze books will take you away for a few hours! They are a little steamy but kept me entralled.....Vicki Lewis Thompson tells the story better than most (Sarah Mayberry, too) and I recommend all of her titles. I was not thrilled with the person reading...Her accents were a little distracting.
This is a good start to a promising series. The narrator was also good. I look forward to the next installment in the series.
