The moment Amanda defied her rich and powerful father to marry Bobby O’Leary, Big Max disowned her. Even now, with Bobby dead and Amanda mired in debt, he refuses to forgive her. But Caleb, the new man in Amanda’s life, is determined to mend fences between father and daughter. He also has a far more personal mission - to make Amanda and her family his own. But when she learns how close he is to Big Max and the secret Caleb’s been hiding, there’s every chance she could walk away. As a pastor, Caleb’s used to calling on a higher power for help, and heaven knows it’s going to take a miracle to fix this before it’s too late.

This was a great ending to the Charleston Trilogy. Although Caleb will sometimes get on your nerves, he and Amanda's love story is endearing. The other thing that I liked about this particular book is that with the numerous sub-plots, Sherryl Woods actually manages to give you a few extra love stories. Tanya Eby continues to do a good job in narrating the series, maintaining the same consistency in voicing the different characters. If you've read the previous two and are wondering if you should get this one, go for it.
This story contains all the essentials for a good romance. The characters were very believable and realistic. The storyline had drama, faith, love and loss in it. The conclusion was both happy and sad as I have found life. Sheryl Woods is one of my favorite authors.
