Publisher's summary

There are rules to life that one just obeys in order to stay on the right path. For example: You don't wear dirty panties out of the house - you just never know who's going to see them. A lady must always have chocolate at the ready - just in case the world as she knows it comes to an end. You don't egg on a drunk woman who's pissed off at life.

Why, you ask? Because they start bar fights, that's why.

Casten Red, the unofficial enforcer of the Uncertain Saints MC, wasn't necessarily trying to urge her into doing anything illegal, and he definitely wasn't trying to get her into a fight with a group of men who were all twice her size. He should've followed his gut instinct and turned around that first moment he saw her in the bar, but Casten has never liked following the rules. Why the hell would he start now?

4 Vodka on the Rocks Stars

I am soo happy I got the chance to listen to this series in audio, if you’re thinking of it and still on the fence JUMP! I promise you, that you won’t regret it.

Tasha is Annie’s sister from book 2 and I was very intrigued. You saw when she got an eyeful of Casten in that book but he wouldn't budge.
So when I started listening to this book I fist pumped the air another good man bites the dust.. IN A GOOD WAY! Ha ha!

You get the feeling Tasha is harboring some pretty deep emotions but on the outside she is all smiles. Her past plays a big part of that but I also think (my opinion) is she is just afraid to move on.

Casten too has some parts of his past that make it hard for him to want to move on. But when a good man finds his lady nothing and I mean nothing is going to get in the way of that.
I love that Casten is so family oriented what he does for his sister. Love, Love, Love.

How a man treats his dog, well ladies that just says it all right there. Swoony and Melty I am.

Again me gushing about the narrators they are awesome this series was phenomenal because of the writing but the narrators brought the words to life. <3 Swoon I am a fan.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

BEST ONE YET

I loved this one best. the first two kind of mirrored each other with certain things like the guys walking away cause it was best in that super hero complex kind of way because the men brought trouble to the women but this time it's the heroine's past that catches up with the couple.

CHEMISTRY MADE OIL & WATER MIX INTO LOVE

The Uncertain Saints MC is no ordinary biker club - no, it's made up of a group of men from different Law Enforcement organizations who bend the law and catch the bad guys their way. And ex Cop ex Military man Casten is a member - the broody self-employed bad boy/Private Detective hasn't got the time, or the inclination, for much except his work and the Saints which is how he likes it. Well, he did until he was introduced to Tasha and now he can't stop thinking about her.. but, despite his attraction to her, and their obvious chemistry, he built walls and resisted the pull.. but when a mysterious and dangerous stalker enters Tasha's life Casten steps in.. and it's game over for him.

Tasha is fragile yet strong too - she comes with the baggage of a tragedy, lost first love and shattered dreams but she has been attracted to Casten since day 1 of meeting the sexy Alpha biker. There's been plenty of mixed non verbal messages between them but he's never made a move on her.. but then one night everything changed. Casten came to her rescue, whisked her off her feet, showed her passion and love like she'd never experienced before, protected her from a deranged stalker, became a target to shield her, broke her heart and then put it back together again.

Very enjoyable dual POV story, likeable loving and protective hero, a feisty quirky friendly heroine and there was humorous banter between these two as well as plenty of sexy sweaty times, suspense, drama, a twist, tension and a HEA Epilogue that spanned a decade. Great secondary characters and good narration too.

Worth a credit? These two characters were both damaged and they started off holding back their emotions but, when they opened up to each other, deep feelings surfaced and together they fought for, and forged, a forever love. So YES, another entertaining and creditworthy listen from this Author.

I am really enjoying this series! It's like a yummy little snack because they have fun story lines, hot sex and they are fairly short so I can listen to 2 in a day. I loved how scrappy Tasha is and how protective Casten is of her. These characters both have PTSD for 2 different reasons but together they learn how to deal with their issues. Casten and his dog also had me swooning, I love when a story has a man and his dog and their bond is so real!

The narration was great, I'm glad the author stuck with them throughout the entire series.

Carsten & Tasha love Em .....

What made the experience of listening to Vodka on the Rocks the most enjoyable?

Tasha antics had me laughing out loud when she was in fine form.... For all of Castens put off-ness she did not give up, yes she had been delt a few blows but she has always tightened her gut & just pushed on ...

What was one of the most memorable moments of Vodka on the Rocks?

All of it .. Great laughs .. Tighting stomach when Casten was blowing it with Tasha ... Casten being a twin ... The moment it dawned on him that she was his One.. Lots !! 🤗

What about Mason Lloyd and Kendall Taylor ’s performance did you like?

Arr his voice ... Panty melting ... & Kendall hits it right everytime. ... Well done Both 🤗❤️

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Tasha telling Casten her story ... Casten & Coda's story.... Coda , with what happened at the back door ..

Any additional comments?

Another awesome job done by Lani Lynn Vale ... & I can't wait till all of her books are on Audio ...

I love Lanis books

Lani Lynn Vale’s Uncertain Saint’s MC series is unique in the fact that its members are all on the right side of the law…now don’t get me wrong, these bikers aren’t afraid to bend the rules and do what’s necessary in order to get the job done, but they work around the law, not completely against it. The main characters in this book, Casten and Tasha, are perhaps the quirkiest that she has ever written, and that’s really saying something! Casten is a member of the Uncertain Saints, a gym owner, a private detective and a former police officer who was forced into an early retirement due to an injury. He believes his life is too dangerous for him to have a woman in it, and while he is fiercely attracted to Tasha, he’s trying to keep her in the friend zone. Casten is a very stoic guy, and Tasha works overtime to get a reaction out of him. I loved Casten, he is growl and quite demanding but with Tasha he is fascinating. Tasha is fantastic, she is quirky and not your standard heroine. I liked this couple together, they are electric and you are fully invested in them from beginning to end.

My Favorite Quote from the Book:“Sometimes you can’t help but be a fucker. When everyone else you deal with is a fucker, you have to out fuck the other fuckers. -Tasha’s secret thoughts Tasha”

This series was phenomenal because of the writing but the narrators (Mason Lloyd, Kendall Taylor) brought the words to life. I think I'm in love with Kendall Taylor She is just that good. She really makes the series and when you listen to her you know the book is going to be good!

I feel like

We're getting better more focused stories as the series continue but I'm still feeling like the build up is good but then endings are rushed and we don't get much explanation or resolution and a lot happens OP. I feel like it would have been better if we got that conversation at the end to know the why after we went along on this journey with them. It's just very disappointing that it happens every single time. Narration as usual was done well.

Check it out

A very good read. I highly recommend reading and/or reading this story. It is well written and narrarated. I like the twists and they are not too dark. I just wished we were told that the little girl had gotten a good forever family
