Publisher's summary

A jilted man gets his shot at revenge in this pulse-pounding romance from popular author Lynne Graham. Valente Lorenzatto has never forgiven Caroline Hales for abandoning him at the altar. But now Valente has made millions and claimed his aristocratic Venetian birthright, and he’s poised to buy Caroline’s family - lock, stock and barrel. Perhaps his newfound wealth and lineage will soften her up - and get him the delicious pleasures for which he’s waited five long years.

Narrator

Almost stopped listening, but continue on because of the story itself. Narrator was so bland!

Decent story, horrible performance

The guy narrating this book made the “Italian” man sound Spanish and his inflection was entirely off in my opinion. Through the whole story, every time he did the male voice I kept thinking of Antonio Banderas! Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE that actor, but he’s definitely NOT Italian! If one can get past the sucky performance, the story isn’t all that bad.

Just found these...YAY!

Diehard HQN fan and happened to stumble upon this collection of books from all my favs. This is my second book with this narrator and I'm not gonna lie....not a fan of the fake accent. I think he should settle for a husky voice and leave the rest to the imagination.
