Love listening to audio books.
This book is an erotic romance.
Not for me, I wanted to strangle the female character, sorry.
Viktor started in America with three dollars and built a million dollar business all over the world with his night clubs. When a mocha beauty seeks refuge in his club due to her seeing a murder, he feels the sudden urge to not only protect her but to cherish.
Alia grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, the Bronx to be exact and with her skin and attitude she can take care of herself, until she is a witness to a murder and they want to tie up loose ends. It has been her and her brother so it is hard for her to believe this Russian god is her white night.
! Love to listen to jazz, r/b and listen to erotic or a good paranormal sci-fi and " good narration is everything"
This is a story of a black female name Alia worked and live in a bad place and she see a murder and the men chased her to a private club. She meet Viktor a Russian and owner of the club and he let her stay. OK story of good Russian protect black female from bad Russian. Melissa Barr did an ok performance
A solitary, caring all around good guy alpha male who thought he was incapable of falling in love. A young women who has always taken care of and put otbers before herself are thrust together unexpectedly.
A newly found lover of Audio books. I am able to read but don't like to. Its amazing that these audio books are so effective, Amazing Stuff
this book teaches you that not only is love in existence but you can find love in your worst situation. I wish I had a man like Viktor
How protective he was of her and how he took so many risk, even putting his life on the line just to ensure she was safe
when they made love for the very first time and when he stood up for Alia when his mother and brother was being very rude after meeting Alia
I had mixed emotions but over all it made me appreciate life and love more
i lovvvvee this book, it was not like the other romance books i've listened to. I t was different I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this title I know I'm going to recommend this one.
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
This was a wonderful treat. A well written love story of people that HAPPEN to fall for each other (of course lust came first) Alpha male with a good heart.. Mixed with conflicts, danger, prejudice and old world views. This Vktor is a REAL MAN that does what he wants. A total rare find. I am always looking for well written bwwm love/lust/sex audible stories.. I will definitely buy more Susan Westwood audible stories about Russian lovers.. Yummy.. Nothing like having diverse looking characters in stories so i can imagine my chocolate self in the environment. Wish other writers would add one or two women of (darker) color in the audible stories ( either as a friend or distant relative of main character atleast) This story was a "chance meeting" between the two main characters and the male lead ( handsome anglo Viktor) felt the need to help a female is distress. 2 thumbs up.. Great action, mystery and suspense.. ..Great story in general!!!!!!!
I tried to finish but could not. I skipped to the last chapter. only because I paid for it. The author through the narrative and the main characters reinforced some culturally ridiculous stereotypes as if the were facts. Even the whole I'm from the 'ghetto' in the Bronx was hard to believe and not convincing. not to mention the 'h' in this story is pretty much useless. Shes presented as uneducated, and pretty doesnt know anywhere or anything until the hero showed her. All she does is take. the "H" just gives whatever she wants for no other reason other than he just wants to care for her. she does not earn the Hero's affection. she does nothing in the story to show she is worthy of anything she is getting. I would return it if I could but I cant. so i have to count this as a loss. not to mention I did not like the narrator on this. the accents were absolutely terrible and a down right mockery. I'm so disappointed.
This was a great book. Can't wait to see what Susan Westwood will do next.
