Good mystery

When I started reading this I had a solution in mind but changed my mind as I continued my read. Fun characters. I enjoyed the book and have already recommended it to my friends; especially my friends from St. Louis.

Great story, couldn't get past the narrator.

This story sounded really promising, and from what I was listened to it seemed to deliver. The writing was great, the characters believable... I'm actually quite likely to pick this book up in print and listen to other books by the same author. Unfortunately, the narrator was a little... over the top? It sounded more like an enthusiastic infomercial than a mystery novel. She's probably wonderful with comedies or maybe even romances, but in a mystery/thriller her narration was just distracting.

I had hoped that given time I wouldn't notice her style so much, the way people's accents start to fade after you've had enough conversations with them, but alas - that was not the case. I couldn't get past it and had to return it.

Vanished

Nice love story mixed with some suspense. Clean, no cursing or sex. I enjoyed it, easy read for relaxation.

A gripping story

This story held my interest from the beginning, despite the rather lame accents the narrator used on occasion. I will definitely look for more by this author.

Story was interesting; narrator not so much.

Loved the story and the characters, but the narrator wasn't very good. I'd recommend getting the written version.

Narration is AWFUL

For whatever reason, every character sounds like a cliche snooty aristocrat asking for Grey Poupon through the window of their Rolls-Royce. It was unbearable. I had to finish the book myself rather than listening. It was beyond bad. It was like having the characters speak to me in the most condescending voice imaginable.
