Very entertaining
I loved this book, I’m so glad I found it. . This story keeps you glued to the pages in a very fun entertaining way…there is just enough drama to make you wonder just how this is really going to go. There were times where I imagined Joanne just smiling to herself, in a what now kind of way. Loved the narration.

Good start to urban fantasy series
I found this story very interesting and a great start to an urban fantasy series. I really enjoyed the main character Joanne Walker and her journey and finding out her calling as a shaman. I really look forward to the following books in the series.

Oh what fun!
Loved it! This was my introduction to Fantasy, and a great way to get my feet wet. I love the characters. The narrator, Christine Carroll is spectacular! She doesn't sounds like she's reading at all, she sounds like she's just talking to you. I'm going to wait awhile before I listen to the sequal because they used a different narrator (I can't imagine why) and I won't give her a fair chance until the memory fades a while. Thanks everyone who recommended this one!

loved loved loved this book!!!
This was my first C.E. Murphy book. I enjoyed the plot a lot. I enjoyed the character by play. The narration was the cherry on the top. it was brilliant.

Second Time's the charm
The first time I read this book, I was not impressed. I'm not sure of I finnished. The second time it was much more entertaining. The world C.E. Murphy created was very intriguing. She brought together the Irish world of the Fae and Native American traditions. There was also a great group of supporting characters and a lot of action.

Favorite book series!
Bought the physical copy years ago, and bought the audio version just to revisit the series again. I recommend this series to my friends all the time. I absolutely adore everything about it!

intrigued to finish hoping to understand the references from crossover EXISTENCES to corporal embodiment but enjoyed the narration and storyline and interested in the next book.

Great series
I have read this series and am now listening to it because i really enjoyed the series the first time around.
I like that the story isnt all gushy romance. It focuses more on the story, the fantasy.
I got more from the story reading rather than listening to it but thats usually how it is for me.
I like characters, the storyline the whole atmosphere. I had to sit and think about it all when it ended. I wasnt ready to leave joannes world. I know the next few books in the series i enjoyed more than book 1. Cant wait to get to book 2.
