I am SO horribly disappointed in this much anticipated series finale. The characters are shallow. The dialogue is repetitive and whiny. The story is confusing, unbelievable, and ridiculous. The entire plot is one big hole. In much of the book, Nan herself isn't sure if she is dreaming. The entire 'crime family' story line, which began in When I'm Gone, seems both contrived and unnecessary, and there is no resolution for plots and characters from previous books. This book does NOT live up to the precedent set in the rest of the series, and as a series finale, it is completely unsatisfactory.
Yes. I own 25 of her books, and I have loved all but this one.
Yes. I didn't love Sophie Eastlake's 'male' voice, and I didn't love Jeremy York's differentiation in the male voices, but these factors did not make the listening experience any worse. The book was just bad overall, so I would be willing to try both narrators again.
Too much needs edited/added in this book, so I can't adequately answer this question.
No. I am a die hard Abbl Glines fan and still find it hard to believe she wrote it.
The story didn't really have a solid plot. It is messy and disjointed. Truly disappointing.
They are both awesome narrators. They did a fine job with what they had to work with.
No. Rosemary Beach is done.
This book just makes me sad. I always look forward to Abbi Gline's latest releases and it was a struggle to finish this one.
I'm so disappointed in the final installment of rosemary beach books. Nan never uttered the words "I'm sorry". Not once. How is that redemption from all the horrible things she said and did in 12 previous books. We were TOLD to understand that she had a bad upbringing. That nobody could handle honest Nan. Well, honesty and what she did were two different things.
Also, Major was an idiot. He was not admirable. At all.
There was nothing except instant lust, between nan and her hearts desire. No friendship, no honesty (on his part). And well, she admitted to not knowing him. So how are we to believe that they were meant to be.
I so glad I'm done with this series.
I don't know if it's because I was anticipating this book that I had high expectations but who the hell gives a blow job and not know that it's not a dream. I didn't like the slapping in the face either..feels like an abuse but I was willing to let that go.

Nanette Manning & ?
I wouldn’t say I am converted to a Nan lover, but I don’t hate her now. I understand where she is coming from a lot more than I ever thought I would.
Her character growth is probably the biggest to go through of all the series. It’s one I actually enjoyed reading about. I knew I would read this book no matter what.
There are a lot of twists and turns in this book but here is a quote from Nan I must share.
“I wasn’t a Blaire or a Harlow. I didn’t inspire men to want to change for me.” – Nan
Nan has been hurt by men to many times for her to trust them easily. She is on guard all the time. She can usually spot the fakes and the liar’s. So when she does fall she falls hard.
And it’s not surprising that when things don’t work out she doesn’t fall to pieces like one would think she picks herself up again and moves on.
But remember things are not always as they appear to be..
Over all a great addition to the series..
*All my Reviews are 100% honest and my own.*
I had such high hopes for this book. I love every other Abbi Glines book but this one it was weak to say the least. The plot and characters are extremely underwhelming, not to mention I'm no closer to understanding Nan and her selfish ways. I thought that I would come away loving the ending of The Rosemary Beach series but instead it fell flat. So disappointed.
If you're looking for some down and dirty explicit sex scenes, this book is for you. Some of the narration had me fanning myself it was so hot. Good story line, kept my attention and had some good twists and turns to it. One of my favorite Abbi Glines books yet.
"Evil witch turns into a princess"
Nan was the character you loved to hate but even she deserved a HEA. We knew her childhood was one lacking in love and other than her brother she was everyone's second choice. I loved her imperfect/ perfect love story with an equally imperfect/perfect Cope. Another Rosemary beach novel that will stay with me for days. Simply fabulous Abbi 5stars.
"A must for Rosemary a Beach fans"
Well. I've been waiting for what seems like forever for this final instalment of the Rosemary Beach series and what a finale! Loved Nan's story so much. Nan has a heart, at last. Major is a totally self absorbed a%#hole, and Cope is a God. I had no idea where this story was going to take me, and never in a million years would I have guessed. I loved the softer side of Nan and I loved now she still kept her inner bitch. Fantastic story with so many little twists and turns that I did not see coming. Beautifully written in multi POV. I also loved the little insights we got into the lives of the rest of the the Rosemary Beach clan.
