Funny Story

I got this book via audiobook boom. This was a funny story in that Noel divorced her husband then moved back in with him when he was discovered to have cancer. The divorce was because he cheated on her. Then he does it again and does not tell her that he is in remission. the story was twisted and several times things were said that just did not seem to be finished. I kept waiting for something else to happen and it didn't. The narrator was ok. The story needs polishing.

Sexy Big Girl is Rocking it--Get it, girl!

Of course this wasn't my favorite book, it's not really my favorite genre--it's a sexcapade that made me cringe at the language at times. However, I found myself really invested in the story.

Noel is a big ole' girl who finds herself in this horrible relationship rut with her ex-husband who treats her like garbage.

She gets flown away for work and meets this hot silver fox, Leon.

Obviously, things get steamy and Noel gets to spend a glorious Christmas in the arms of a real man.

Yasssssss!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Get it!!!!

Honestly though, I could give this book a 2.5 overall and not lose sleep at night, but I'll keep it at a 3 just because I was rooting for Noel by the end of the book.

Sarcastic and tough

Book is full of sarcasm, language and self deification. There is some good parts and some glances at a great story. But I kept getting distracted by the characters need to put herself down. To use her weight or size as some excuse or other. Being that she keeps attracting gorgeous attractive men I was confused as to just how big she must have been to be obsessing? Not that bigger women can't be attractive. Only why keep throwing it up? She is a successful motivated women and it just threw off the story line to me. I received this book at no cost in exchange for an honest review.

Good Holiday Romance

This is a short story with a pretty good story line. The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life.

Noel is a pretty angry woman that uses very "colorful" language to express her frustration. She is still living with her ex-husband. Although he cheated on her, he convinced her into taking care of him after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Leon comes along when she flies to help her friend Tony. Sparks fly and their romance happens quickly. There are some ups and downs . This book is for a mature audience with descriptive details and language.

Christmas Romance

Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot (audiobook narrated by Sara Gordon)

A Christmas romance story that I really enjoyed listening to. I love Noel’s spunkiness and sarcastic humor. Noel has had a tough year after finding out her ex husband has cancer and helps him through his treatments. When she gets a call from one of her favorite clients she’s worked with for years, Noel jumps at the chance and flies out to California for a new project. Noel meets a gorgeous guy in the hotel bar who turns out to be on the project group too. What happens next, you will have to listen/read it!

Sara Gordon did a wonderful job reading the book. I love how well she acts out each of the characters. I know I’ve listened to other books Ms. Gordon has read and I always enjoy them.
