Not what I hoped for

While I love a good love story the repetition of insignificant detail drug on and on... the speculations of other thoughts over and over I didn’t enjoy. Not enough climax and so predictable.

Loved It!!!

I love Brenda Novak's Silver Springs series. Hudson and Ellie help each other learn to trust again.

Unlikeable Characters and bad narration

BOTH of the main characters in this book are completely unlikeable - narcissistic and unrealistic. The narrator isn’t able to pull off different character voices (especially males). I often could not tell what character is speaking. The descriptions of people and places don’t provide any real visual for the reader/listener. It’s truly terrible and unrealistic - like a romance novel written by a 17 year old virgin who is dreaming about a football romance.

fantastic book, was so sorry to see this book end

I loved this book so much. The female lead is an intelligent, quirky, kind individual. The male lead was an athlete, so in some ways it was an opposites attract (Initially anyways) storyline. I was honestly so disappointed to see this book come to an end. It was interesting, sexy, and had twists and turns all the way until the end. I consider myself picky about books because I like romances but I don’t like to read about dumb women or overbearing males. This book was not that, it was done super well, and also it is apart of a series but I would consider it a stand alone as the aspects that made it apart of the series were so minimal that I barely noticed them.

Love Brenda's writing. Enjoyed the narrative but the speed was faster than I am used to. overall pleasant listening while doing chores ,driving or any activity.

Love Brenda Novak books, in general. This story totally melted me. I just finished, and I’m going to listen a second time. The best of the silver springs stories, by a mile. So romantic. So uplifting. Highly recommended.

Heart warming

ABSOLUTELY captivating and creative writing that draws you in and keeps you entertained for hours. I love that it is realistic people with realistic issues about life, love and adventures.

Just wait for it..

Once this get's going, it fits slow going at first, But when the story line kicks in it enjoyable.

Back in Silver Springs!

I really enjoyed this book. It had mystery, romance and intrigue. The back and forth with Hudson and Ellie was so genuine that I felt like I was right there with them. It had a teeny tiny bit of sex, which I was okay with. On to the next Silver Springs book. I REALLY enjoy this series!!
