This book series is just amazing. I can't put it down. I even listen to it in my car as I'm driving to and from work. LOVE!

I would recommend this series. This story kept me on my toes. Like the idea of vampires can actually give birth.

I just love this whole series

I have read these books already and have been able to now listen to them. I love them because they have the action, suspense, and romance in a perfect way that just makes you hooked. I also love the scifi genre with vampires

Amazing author

There is nothing to dislike about this book or any books in the series! The characters are amazing and you can really connect with them!! The intimate parts are very well written as is the story around them!!

Well.. just.... OMG! Ha. I'm still in shock of this wonderfully delicious book of vampire yumminess. This was a series I had started last year. The first two books were great. So I knew this one would be great. But its more than that. Like.. over the top craziness goes on here. The story of Ethan and Emma is just... chaos. But the good kind. You know what I mean. Like walk in the room, fall face first in the lap of the sexiest man alive kind of chaos. (grins)

Ethan has always held onto a secret or two that make him different from the rest of his family. He is not a fan of humans as they bring out the monster he keeps buried down deep inside of him. None-the-less he goes to Bermuda to spend a month with his sister Isabelle and her husband Stefan. Emma is a newly graduated history major looking to set herself free of everything but the sun adn beach for the next month along side her best friends Mandy and Jill. Though we all know things are never that simple. When Ethan and Emma meet eyes in a bar the first night they are both in Bermuda things start to roll downhill. Full speed ahead. He is attracted to her for so many reasons. And Emma, lord the girls ovaries are working over time when she sees him. Though, really, who in the name of blood would blame her.

Its a case of "I see you. You see me, lets shag" but its not that simple for either of them. Ethan is worried about hurting her and Emma is worried about getting hurt. But once their bodies do a dance of urgent love making its all bets are off time. Or so you think. Just when they start to work out the whole "i'm not in this for commitment" stage of their 'relationship' an ass from her past shows up. And he isn't the man she once knew. He is not happy to see Emma has moved on. Guess he is as clueless as most men and thought she would wait on him... LOL Fooled him, she did. With the ex close by things start to happen that no one can anticipate or control. It pushes Ethan to his limits of self control and all hell breaks lose. But what happens after that?

That is the million dollar question. Guess you need to read and find out for yourself. (Note: This is a series but you could read this book as a stand alone.. though I suggest reading them all so you know the characters like I do.)

My favorite so far

Untamed is my favorite so far in the Vampire Awakenings series. Emma & Ethan make a cute couple facing clashing worlds and fate's attraction to each other. The secondary back story is interesting, intense, and attention grabbing. Looking forward to book 4.

Repeat

I will say i still loved this series except i feel like it is a major repeat from the 1st two books. For True mates to be so rare they sure are finding a lot of them. but i will say once i get a few more credits added up i might finish out the series. but i feel like it is a major repeat of the 1st two..

Love it

Ethan all grown up and hot and struggling with his purebred immortality. Find his mate was the least thing in his mind and her being human. Definitely a must get! Narrator does a great job bring characters to life and great pace. Yes I recommend.

Ethan and Emma

Ethan, held in the grips of violent and blood thirsty inclinations, goes to see vacationing Stephan and Isabelle. He feels different from his siblings, the oldest male, he feels twisted as violence becomes more of a pull. Suddenly he meets a human (he always stayed away from them) Emma, who calms him
The story initiates the reader into the need to bond with their mate, and discovering what a born vampire experiences
The action, the questions, seeking resolution for the couple…absolutely loved this story. Highly recommend
Gilbert, as always, out does herself! Love this series
