Publisher's summary

Have you ever felt like you were living your life for a future that was predetermined? Like there was some bigger picture you just prayed you would someday see clearly? That picture has been crystal clear to me since I was old enough to recognize it for just what it was. Or, I should say, recognize him for who he was.

I've loved Cohen Cage since I was a small child. He's been my everything for the last 22 years. I've loved him through every girlfriend he's ever brought home. Through his college years and then mine. I've loved him through two deployments. And ever since the day I told him how I felt, he's acted like I'm a stranger.

My name is Danielle Reid, and it's time for me to get my man. Our future is an unexpected fate, and no matter what our parents, siblings, and friends say...it's going to be worth every second of the fight to make it happen.

ugh--couldnt finish

Shirl sounds like she is a retired porn star around, 60ish, and the actual female character has the emotional and maturity depth of a 12 year old. what in the world? Seriously?

Audible performance let's this story down.

Whilst I enjoyed Dani & Cohen's story, the audible performance let the story down. Cohen sounded like an old man so there is a definite disconnect with his character. And I found that Dani sounded whiney.

A Good Ride!

This was my first book narrated by Shirl Rae and Sean Crisden and I really enjoy their voices and work.. I really love how Sean got into Cohen's characters and made us feel the emotions of the situation... I really felt how they were taking us on the journey making the story more vivid and strong..

.........................................

This was a sweet ride with a few twists.

Cohen and Danielle knew each other since they were born, their families were very close and they usually spend days together.. his sisters were even close to Dani.. their parents knew they were meant to be together.. but it was about time and life they knew when to finally act on their feelings..

Dani was very in love with Cohen, she was trying to get his attention and his love but Cohen usually puts distance and walls not knowing how to react to those feelings they were usually around when Dani was close to him.. he was afraid that he will hurt her or that he will go away and she will be waiting for him, sad and lonely.. he didn't want that for her.. so he kept trying to not act on their love.

Cohen left to some military mission for a while, missing so much his girl, without even knowing something was happing to her. but soon a phone call and a letter will change the course of their destiny and his return will be sooner than he expected.. he has to protect her, he has to be with her, nothing matters any more than Dani.

it was a good story I love how Dani and Cohen really feet well together, their love was very palpable and sweet but at the same time, their chemistry and sex was super hot and off the charts. love how her family was so protective of her especially the men...

there is a twist, someone is not as good as he/she seems so keep an eye of the one who wants to harm Dani.

if you're looking for something to relax this is a good option.

Wow, this has got to be the best

This is a romantic, erotic and a bit of action.

Isebella and Axel, from Corps Security, Book 1, have a daughter Danielle aka "Danny"

Cage and Melissa from Corps Security, Book 2 have a son Cohen from there you will remember a girl by the name "Danny Girl" that told Cohen he was hers.

Here is the beginning to an awesome new series. Although this books I have to say is great and thee story line make me want to say, "Full Circle". It is amazing that two people can find love the same way their parents did without a horrific past. Instead Danny has to convenience Cohen they are meant to be. When Cohen finally gives in right before he is deployed, he leave his Danny girl with more than a memory of him. With a stalker on the lose Danny is in danger, and Cohen is on a special mission.

Love this book, and knowing that this is a continuing story from the children of our favorite characters in Corps. Security.

This book could be a stand alone, but you really gotta love the parents of these two.

Good romance

I enjoyed the book overall. It got a tad boring for me at periods, but was able to hold my attention most of the time. The romantic scenes were very well written and I can only wish there had been a few more of those thrown in somewhere. I rate it a B+

It's Cohen's TURN!

Sweet Jesus, where do I start? Well, this is Cohen Cage and Dani Reid's story. For those of you just tuning in, Cohen is Greg Cage's son, and Dani is Axel Reid's daughter. If you haven't read the others, then you are missing out because there are so many alpha males in this series. However, for those of you that have been following this series from the beginning, you know how these men are about their girls.

Anywho I know everyone has their favorite Corps Security guy. Honestly, mine has been Greg Cage from the first book. Of course, that was until Cohen came in and stole the show. I loved this book, but even more, I love this series. I can't wait to see if there will be more or who comes next. I'm already telling everyone to add it to the TBR.

Oh yea, everyone has one question…. Is Cohen like his daddy, and by that, I mean the hardware? Well, that you will just have to wait and find out. Some will also ask if they got their HEA? Well, you know that's a good question. I guess you will just have to read it and find out.

Harper, you are amazing at what you do. You hit all the right things. You know how to draw us right into the character. I laughed, I cried, but more importantly, I came very close to throwing my kindle. I won't say why as it would be a spoiler, but I thought you should know.

"Sean Crisden's voice is NOT sexy"

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

REALLY Good Story - which is why I kept listening and put up with it for the first two books - but it was painful.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Sean Crisden's voice is not good for romance. He sounds like a cigarette smoking Dennis Leary. I could not really fall into the book with his voice as the "sexy hunk" -that rasp just didn't cut it and his switch to the female voice made the female character sound whiny and annoying. Not that he isn't a good narrator - I think he should pursue mystery thrillers.

Another winner

Shirl Rae, Sean Crisden, and Harper Sloan do it again. Great story and great performances. The story never lost its excitement or pace.

Deep loving relationship

I loved the deep caring among the two main characters. Also the twist on this story surprised me, with the crazy lunatic. Most of all Axel and his alpha male persona.

Nope

The way these men talk sounds like a horny teenager. Only perverts talk to women like this. I don’t even get it not even alpha men talk like this.
