Publisher's summary

Sassy and quirky, with heaping doses of paranormal romance, MaryJanice Davidson's New York Times best-selling Queen Betsy series sinks its teeth into fans and never lets go. Here Betsy must return the body of her werewolf friend Antonia to her own kind in Cape Cod. And who knows how the wolves will greet her. Then there's her half-sister - the devil's own daughter - who is feeling her oats and beginning to raise a little hell.

#8 is great!

MaryJanice Davidson is back with another winner in the her best selling series. Liz Taylor, she of the many pairs of shoes, besides bring Queen of the Undead and her long suffering vampiric king / husband Eric Sinclair continue their sanguine saga in grand style! Fun, with more than a touch of the strange. Chic vampires, funky werewolves and the Devil's own daughter. Narrator Nancy Wu always provides a wonderful and entertaining read, breathing life into the characters. All and all book 8 is great!

Just Okay

I really liked this series in the beginning, but the last couple books haven't been so great and this one was a let down too. There is a alot going on in this book and there is some potential, but nothing is ever developed to the point that you care about the characters and whats happening. I definetly won't waste my Audible credits on the next book in this series, and I can't recommend this one.

Not the best but still good

I love this series and hate that this is the last one. It was not the best of the series but that still makes it a fun read.

THE QUEEN....BESTY..LOVE HER

I totally love this storyline of everyday life with Queen Besty, who is more concerned over what shoes to wear with what designer outfit than keeping the peace in her perfect unperfect world. Her King husband Eric rocks as her side kick, as does her close friends, I just wish they were longer storys and more informational, she can only have one disaster at a time and that leaves for a short story. The narration is the best of any audiobook I have listen to so far (and that alot) Nancy WU is a perfect Besty, and does all the other character justice as well....get the series, totally worth it....

Good, but short...

I have been a Betsy fan from Book 1, and I did enjoy this one - although I will agree with other reviewers that it is quite short.

In previous books, I always felt that there were multiple storylines going on, some resolved early, and some that lasted the "length" of the book. I felt that this book had only two storylines, both of which were resolved "early". :)

Short, but still good - I waited until I had a $10 credit to pick it up, since it was only 4-5 hours long.

I love these books

If you could sum up Undead and Unwelcome in three words, what would they be?

Great Escapist Entertainment

What did you like best about this story?

The Characters are very well drawn.

What does Nancy Wu bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Characters Voices

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot.

Any additional comments?

Don't read these if you're expecting something deep. But read these if you're looking to escape for a few hours. I love these books, they're silly, well written, and keep your attention.

Yes it's short. It's still good.

Don't be afraid to get it -- just don't pay full price for it! The story is just as fun as the others have been, with humor, twists & turns. I'd rather a complete book than one that's been padded. Use your credits, or wait for a sale. I really like the narrator of these books, too. I've tried reading the books, but they have more color through the audible recording because of the many voices portrayed.

An added perspective, but all the same fun

I was a bit confused when Mark Spangler was writing in his diary. In fact the transition was often times confusing, which would have made this better read rather than heard, but Nancy Wu has continued to bring the characters to life, so no harm no foul. It’s all the same undead fun with Queen Betsy at the helm. Vampires where wolves and satanic worshipers, oh my!

Fun Easy Read

I really enjoyed this book as well as the rest of the series. I hope audible gets the 9th book Undead and Unfinished when it releases later this year.

Funny book...

I have read all the undead books and recently listened to this one. Whilst I enjoyed the book and found it very funny, I was very disapointed by the voice for Sinclair.I'm afraid I found it ridiculous and it was why i gave the book only 3 stars. Great book, just needs a different voice.
