I remember everything, only now I wish I didn't. When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself. But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed. Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know. I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day. He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him, even if that means marrying someone else.

Just Another Audiobook Addict! Love listening to all types of romances, but occasionally need a good Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or a book with humor!
Dark! Raw! Gritty! Violent, Nail Biting Tension! I can't recommend this series enough!
Book two picks up right where book one ends, and T.M. Frazier takes the listener for a darker, more intense, brutal, and shocking ride than book one. This story sucked me in, and kept me on the edge of my seat, and when Tyrant was revealed, I freaking knew it!
Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro's performance was absolute perfection!
If you like dark, gritty, suspenseful romances with an intense edge, then this is a series you do not want to miss out on. Well worth the time, credit, and re-read!
Great performance by both readers! However I had trouble getting into the story at first but after the first 2 hours was hooked. All in all it was a good story but with very brutal and twisted sick parts to it I could have done without, but I guess it's what made it the story it was. I can't honestly say if I would recommend this book just beware its gory.
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
I went back and listened to the last few chapters of King before I started this listen to recap on the betrayal of both King and Doe's Father and I'm so glad I did because this book starts off exactly after those jaw-dropping events. And it's BANG straight into a pulse-pounding first chapter that sets the pace for the rest of the book because the gifted and talented T.M.Frazier throws so many things into the storyline that you're on the edge of your seat throughout.... either gasping, reeling, melting, suffering, choking up, sighing or just freezing in sheer anticipation of what the Hell's going to be thrown at you next.
It's raw, dark, deep, chilling, thrilling, sexy, gritty and deliciously shocking as, once again, you're thrown headlong into King's very Alpha mind and his and Doe's life as they struggle desperately to hold on to each other through many twists, turns and unbelievable revelations.
Dual POV's, great narration that brought all the characters, drama and emotional turmoil to life during this fantastic listen. And it does eventually and thankfully finish in a HEA ending which has left me so ready and desperate to hear Bear's story next which will hopefully be available Dec/Jan 2016 time.
Worth a credit? One million x YES it delivered everything and much much more than I was hoping for..... but it must be listened to only after Book 1 and only if you're prepared, very prepared, for an intense, gripping and nerve-wracking listen.
I loved 'King' by T.M. Frazier and thought it was incredible. This book-the continuation- blew me away. I loved that fact that I was so immersed in the story I thought my heart was breaking at some points and beating hard enough to come out of my chest at others. The author was able to pull each emotion out of me she wanted with the details and situations she had Doe and King go through. I held on tight until the end and was still reeling long after Molly and Rob spoke their last words. This experience, on a whole, was exceptional. This was a great listen.
The heroine was a teenager which is usually a turnoff for me particularly in light of the type of book. In her favor though is the fact that she was portrayed in a mature light and enough so that I was not reminded of her age too much. The hardships she has been through, hell in fact, so much, betrayal, starvation, beatings, rape, burn, what else is next? However she seems to have handled it all without any emotional trauma, much. I liked her character though in the way she showed loyalty to her friends, old and new and there were other likable traits. The story ended without letting me know if King was planning to go fully legit now that he has a family to care for with more on the way, no more drugs, etc. I liked King enough just not his lifestyle.
This Book 1 & 2 in the King series were my first from this author and I'm not sure I want to read anymore books from this author. Too much violence, death, rape etc. Just not my cup of tea. The author has managed to withhold my attention enough that as soon as I finished book one, I went on to purchased book 2 to continue the story. However I will not be going any further in the series. This is enough for me.
I really liked Preppy. Sorry he died. Just like Doe, I think I can still hear his voice along with his sense of humor as portrayed by Molly Glenmore. She did a great job.
A little less violence would have made this romance more irresistible (for me).
What an epic follow up to King. There are some heavy revelations in Tyrant, and the storyline is just as emotionally charged as book one. I could not tear myself away for a moment--it's just that good. It's a dark gritty and powerful love between King and Doe. The humor and love between them is the only thing that keeps you from being swallowed by the darkness that is every other broken person featured in the story. I loved every minute of this book, and can't wait for more from this author. Bravo T.M. Frazier!
You must read King first as this story picks up right where King left off. This story was brilliantly written. This book is in my top ten favorites. There are a lot of twists you just don't see coming. I could not put this one down once I started. What a great finish!!
If I could give this series a 10 it still would be underscored. The story will take you through every emotion on the list and back again!!
I rarely review anything because although so many are really good they can be repetitive. Great writing, great performance!! Well worth the credits and or purchase. I will listen to these many times over!!
Thank you can't wait for Bears story!
Yes i would definitely recommend this book. The details in the way the story was written definitely showed int he narration. Its not your usual story and it didn't have a girl that needed saving.
I don't have a specific moment but i think it was the moment when she remembered who she really was and what happen to her. But i guess if i have to chose one it will be when her father showed up at the end with King's daughter saying he was home.
Yes but only for the same series by T.M. Frazier.
My thoughts on both the narrators well i didn't really like Molly's voice at voice, it sound too raspy for my taste but as the story progressed it got better. Rob Shapiro, well he was great i think he really nailed each guy's tone and definitely made it funny on the scenes where Preppy came out.
The not so Fairy Tale of Raimy and King.
Fantastic! Loved every bit of this book and the previous. Definitely worth listening too. Can't wait to listen to book 3 .
The whole series of books have spoilt all future books for me! Loved them so much, Great story, amazing characters, brilliantly performed. I think I'm a little in love with Rob Shapiro's voice. A must.
I have never written a review before and I read 20 or more books a week. The story made me laugh, sit on the edge of my seat and literally sob with heartache. So many twists and tails, well written and overall awesome. Can't wait to read Bear's story !
"Twee, but enjoyable"
I enjoyed this book, although the ending was a little too sugar sweet for my taste. I'll definitely try the next in the series.
So many twists and turns in this story, full of intrigue I could not predict how the story would evolve. Gruelling, tortured, sad and funny. Great character development, I could listen to it again straightaway.
Very good narrators.
I'm now desperate to hear Bears story.
"Loved loved loved"
Loved this book almost, but not quite, as much as the first book! The storyline continues where book 1, KING, finished. It follows Doe and King, as Doe finally begins piecing together her forgotten past, and is again told in dual POV, my most favourite. I loved Doe and King, loved heir relationship, loved their strengths and loved that they love each other despite all their faults. This book is so full of passion, anger, violence, intrigue, along with plot twists I just didn't see coming. A hell of a roller coaster ride. So good to finally put all the pieces together. A full five well deserved stars. So glad that TM Frazier is writing a spin off story, Bear, so can't wait to hear his story.
"Just a super listen"
Didn't think it could get any better than King but Tyrant was just a super listen could not switch it off definite twists and turns at every chapter happily recommend and five stars all the ways
