New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery welcomes listeners back to Fool’s Gold, where a onetime fling could become the real thing....
Felicia Swift never dreamed she’d hear a deep, sexy voice from her past in tiny Fool’s Gold, California. The last time Gideon Boylan whispered in her ear was half a world away...on the morning after the hottest night of her life. Her freaky smarts have limited her close friendships, and romance, but she came to Fool’s Gold looking for ordinary. Gorgeous, brooding Gideon is anything but that.
Black Ops taught Gideon that love could be deadly. Now he pretends to fit in while keeping everyone at arm’s length. Felicia wants more than he can give - a home, family, love - but she has a lot to learn about men...and Gideon needs to be the man to teach her.
As these two misfits discover that passion isn’t the only thing they have in common, they just might figure out that two of a kind should never be split apart.

I loved the way Felicia was with her new experiences and how strong she was with a tender heart. I especially liked the matter of fact speech and she made me laugh. Again Great listen.
Some of Julie Garwoods earlier books were all her women are strong and some times don't have a clue.
Yes! I love her voice and the way she reads. I am so happy she is reading all the Fools Gold books.
I am very satisfied with this book.
Great love story
the other fools gold books
I love Tanya Eby. I look for books that she reads.
Felicia is so refreshing.
Just funny and light hearted. I smiled throughout.
A bit long for that but I really wanted it to keep going. I like Susan Mallory but this book is special.
I love all the fool's gold books, so I say this is to be at the top of my listening list.
When Gideon told his story on the radio.
Wonderful as always!!!!
As usual Susan Mallery has another "don't miss" book! I love the Fool's Gold series and can't wait for the next one to come out. This book had my atTntion from start to finish. Felicia and Gideon's lives were so sad. They were each so lost and needy and yet together they became so strong.
Lover of suspense novels and the occasional romance. Loved the Harry Potter series and have them all on audio cd.
I disliked the narrators male voices and never did get used to them even by the end. Overall found this story boring. One of the few books I own that I considered not finishing. Kept waiting for it to get more interesting.
