All three books in the New York Times best-selling trilogy available for the first time in one convenient bundle
"Will you ever let me go?"
"No, Nora," he replies, and I can feel his smile in the darkness. "Never."
On the eve of her 18th birthday, Nora Leston meets Julian Esguerra, and her life changes forever. Stolen away to a private island, she finds herself at the mercy of a powerful, dangerous man whose touch makes her burn...a man whose obsession with her knows no bounds.
Her enigmatic captor is as cruel as he is beautiful, yet it's his tenderness that devastates her most. Drawn into his violent world, Nora must find a way to adapt and survive - and find light within the darkness.

I just have to roll my eyes and say 'really' when someone writes in a review that the book was not 'realistic'...come on now 'really'!
This is a dark romance. I use the romance lightly. Julian is borderline sociopath and a true sadist. Thru the first book and half of the second book I just hate him. Then he starts to show signs of care and compassion then I remind myself what he has done without remorse.
This trilogy starts out a little slow for me but picks up quick and stays fast paced, action packed and I cringed, closed my eyes, and said no, no, no, more times than I can remember.
The second and third book has dual narration. Narration is very good and keeps you interested in the edge of your seat action and the cringing sadism of Julian.
Three books (26 hours of entertainment) for the price of 1 Credit. Hell yah it's worth the credit.
I have the spin-off Capture Me in my library to listen to next. This book is about Lucas and Yulie. In the third book Yulie betrays Julian and Lucas so Lucas has her captured and held prisoner in his personal quarter's on the compound.
This is a series I will listen to time and time again.
Wonderful trilogy! I want more of Anna Zaires books if they are as terrific as Twist Me. I couldn't put it down. I listened to the audible straight through the trilogy and still want more.
Reading Raider by night and grandma by day. Nothing like a Great listen
although some of the subject matter was graphic I really liked this story. lots of plot twist right from the start. I was hook from the first chapter. though dark it was thrilling. will listen to this again and soon.
I liked the book. A great value do to the length of the book. I just don't like weak women. Women who are weak with their men but strong in everything else. The story was different but maddening until toward the end. I think many will like this book but say...."I would not let a man treat me this way." It's like 50 shades the first time you read it...hot. The second or more times you read it you know you would not allow yourself to be treated that way!
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
A book lasting 26 hours is a daunting thought but when you're suddenly hurled into Nora and Julian's terrifying world you just want to walk with them through more and more and even more. What an emotional ride Anna Zaires took me on with jaw-dropping reactions at the sensational dramatic twists, gripping suspense, heart-pounding highs and earth shattering lows. Three books rolled into one and I'm so pleased and grateful that I didn't need to wait anxiously for the next book to be released as the cliffhangers slowly came into sight.
Nora didn't get what she wanted for her Birthday..... instead she gets kidnapped by a breathtakingly handsome stranger she very briefly met at a Bar one night but she could never ever have imagined what he had planned for her..... or how it would devastatingly or wonderfully affect and change her life, her thoughts, her sexual desires and her way of thinking. Because Julian was a Sadist and a Sociopath who totally lacked any conscience or morals over his actions.... he wanted so he took.... and what he wanted was Nora. But pretty soon she became his obsession as well as his possession, his Achilles Heel, his distraction and eventually his saviour, his salvation and his whole world. However, first he had to break her, train her, possess her, mould her and show her that she was irrevocably forever his, his pet, to do with as he pleased.... and he wanted to do it often!! He was a beautiful monster..... handsome, self assured, confident, charismatic, frightening, charming and a very sexually skilled and demanding lover but underneath lay a controlling monster.
You'd think that you'd hate him but somehow, like Nora experienced, he gets under your skin and, in his way, he's kind, considerate, loyal and very thoughtful over everything to do with looking after Nora providing everything she could possibly want.... except her freedom. His personality traits are explained and then understood when shared later in the story. This is a very dark, gritty and raw romance which includes rape, BDSM, lots of scorching hot passion-filled sex scenes and a Sub/Dom type relationship. But it's so so much more too - because it slowly draws you into Julian's terrifying and dangerous world of violence, torture and many many deaths and all the while it's centred around the possessive, dynamic, dysfunctional and often disdainful relationship of two people that can't live, can't function and can't breathe without the other.
Was is Stockholm Syndrome, was it addiction or was it Nora's mind and body's way to cope and survive what was happening to it? Whatever the answer..... it turned into a deep all consuming love that had both Nora and Julian dramatically risking their lives to save each other and that's where the beauty of this story shone brightly. Because despite the abuse, pain, heartache, loss, grief, despair, fear and turmoil they fought together side by side for one another and came out of a deadly and emotional roller coaster the united Victors.
Worth a credit? I'll be honest, at the start there were parts that were harrowing to listen to, but it quickly drew me in like quicksand with all the questions yet to be answered, all the suspense and twists yet to be revealed, all the heartache yet to be felt and all the drama yet to unfold. This was a mind-blowingly awesome listen and, as my heart rate picked up, my pulse pounded, my senses were strung out and my sleep pattern was shattered.... I knew that I'd never ever ever heard a book quite like this before as I relished every second and that it's going to haunt me in the days to come as I ponder, savor and re-live this intense journey. Book 1 was Nora's POV, books 2 and 3 were thankfully dual POV's, great narration, a host of secondary characters and a strong Hero and Heroine who are both loveable but for very different reasons and YES a 10 star creditworthy epic listen..... but you have been warned!!
Listening to an audio book that is 25 hours long initially seemed to be a daunting task.... But the story line an narrators made me obsess about the next time I could listen... Great entertainment!!!
Yes, and I have. This book is engaging. It has suspense, car chases, crashes, sex. love and beautiful scenes.
I would compare it to 50 shades of Grey, but darker.
No, I have not listened to the narrator's other work, but I thoroughly enjoy their performance.
Yes, I would have listened to it in one sitting, but alas... I had to go to work
Amazing twists and turns in this book. I would love to hear more of Julian and Nora
It's rare for a series to grab me so much but this is exactly what the Twist Me series by Anna Zaires has done. It has left me in knots that I needed to listen to it until I had it finished, if I couldn't listen to it I was constantly thinking about it.
Twist Me is the first book in the series and it establishes the basic story line that runs through the books and introduce us to Nora Leston, a young girl who has caught the eye of ruthless Julian Esguerra, an arms dealer who will do anything to have Nora and he does.
In Keep Me Nora has been Julian's captive now for 15 months I'm not going to spoil the story for you in my review, let's just say it gets a lot more interesting once they are off the island.
In Hold Me is the concluding book in the Twist Me series and I am now officially in a book funk. What'll I read/listen to now? The story concludes beautifully but now I have more questions that need answering! Did anything happen between Lucas and Rosa? Where's Peter? What happened with the Russian girl Yulia? I know there's a spin off series I hope my questions are answered. With all the extra characters I'm hoping that this series will go on forever it's one of my favourite series ever.
I love everything about this series, the characters, their relationship between each other, the plot, and the constant suspense of what'll happen next. I'm also intrigued about the side characters and I hope I get to read about their stories too.
Anna Zaires has a way of drawing you in and making you wish you were apart of Nora and Julians story. Her writing is clear, concise and she will captivate you from the first page.
Listening to Twist Me series on audio had heightened my experience of the story. It was amazing! I would highly recommend listening to this audio version of this series.I feel as I know Nora and Julian personally now as I've listened to their story and I've been with them in all the drama and at times felt like I was a peeping tom listening to the steamy scenes. I'm really going to miss the two narratives who have done an amazing job bringing Anna Zaires book to life. Both Shirl Rae and Roberto Scarlato both have soothing voices that are a joy to listen to. They both do an amazing job on different character accents that there are certain words I hear that bring me back into the Twist Me world. They both created an extra dimension and depth to the book and made the characters real and not just characters in a book.
This series deserves more than 5 stars. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. Believe Me!
very interesting and also very sexy
both did a great job. they nailed it I was scared and turned on all at the same time
yes I couldn't stop and when I did all I thought about was the book
a lot of s and m but it kept u wanting more
"I'm not sure why I liked this, but I did."
Even though it was reasonably predictable and followed a well worn path trod by various other authors, I still cared what happened to the characters. I found myself stealing odd minutes away to listen to this book. It was a guilty pleasure I guess.
"Twisted in Me is certainly the right title for this book!"
Over the last week I have been totoally absorbed in this trilogy, very much in the same way as Fifty Shades drew me in. This is a disturbingly dark narrative about a young innocent girl falling helplessly under the spell of the man that kidnaps her. Everything about this book is wrong, depictions of rape and murder, but somehow I found myself immersed into their screwed up world, craving some kind of happy endding.
Great story line and an insight into a whole new world. A must read but not for the faint hearted.
"loved it would listen again x"
Best book I have listened to nora anf julians parts where fab loved them xxx
Absolutely brilliant! Loved it!! I would definitely recommend this trilogy. Looking forward to Reading/Listening to more work from author.
loved loved loved it. this is a must read. Need a new fix asap. x
"Had me on the edge of my seat!!"
Despite the dark subjects within this book it was well written and very addictive. Not for the faint of heart!! But you really grew to care for the characters, including the enigmatic and dark of soul main male character. There were times I wished Nora would punch him in the face just on principal alone! then next moment I feared for his life. Very mixed emotions all throughout the book and never a moment where you wasn't totally gripped. Well narrated by Shirl Rae and Roberto Scarlato. The male narration didn't begin until the second book and it did add to the overall performance. I will definitely look for other books from Anna Zaires. 10/10 well done
"only down side is female voice interpreting Julian"
Good story line find yourself gripped .Didn't feel true that Julian would use the word pet didn't seem to sit right with character portrayed.
loved the story, great plot and some tense twists, all in all a great read
