Nope, they are both exceptional.
I love them all.
“Sweet Little Raven, dusted in sugar—I will possess your heart.”
“We may spend a lifetime searching and never find our Chitah kindred. A male knows her on sight. His desire for her becomes an unquenchable thirst, an undeniable need; he will want her just as sure as he draws breath and will lay down his life for her.” Logan sighed. “She does not feel the same pull, so the male must prove himself worthy to her. Nothing comes easy in life. He will always want his kindred, whether she accepts him or not.”
It was a roller-coaster ride. I felt every emotion listed in Old-Webster.
Highly recommend this series. It's worth it. 5 *****stars across the board..
For the paranormal romance fancier, this series is turning out to be a treat. Not so much romance, as a romantic teaser. Silver has plenty of men in her life, all special in their own way, all out to protect her from Nero who wants her light. Logan Cross is the new 'man' that forces himself into her life, with unwanted intentions. Silver's life is in jeopardy once again, but the fun of this story begins.
The story line is getting much more interesting with a couple of new characters being introduced, making "Impulse" a must read.
Terrific second book in series. It starts right where the first book ends. The name of this book “TWIST” apply describes it since there are many twist and turns in this book. Again I love the main character Silver and how she is not willing to give up no matter what situation. Of course the secondary characters are also great like Justus, Simon, Adam and a new character like Logan Cross. Already moving on to book three of this series. Again must say Nicole Peeler did a great job narrating this audio book.
Most memorable moment:
Silver: Are you alone?
Logan: Not anymore.
Love love love this series and this is one of my favorite books, where we are introduced to Logan Cross and Finn.
This is a great series with lots of things happening. Silver has lots of men to watch over her. I like her and Logan together and the dynamic that happens between them. Simon is hilarious with his sharp whit. Justin is solemn and stern but underneath all that he is a teddy bear. Sliver struggles to stay out of trouble but I love that she never gives up fighting for herself. She does not depend upon all these men. I recommend this series. I think that Nicole Poole does an amazing job of bringing the characters to life.
I loved the 2nd book! The humor was the absolute best. I loved the small jokes that make you laugh. The story was great as well. I love each character she created.
Danika Datk writes stories that I compare to hero comic books, like Superman and Batman. The characters are stronger, smarter, more likable, but still "human". It gives me something to aspire to.
"Glad I read the book first"
yes, I really like the book
Zoe (Silver) comes across as a bit of a princess, a whiny one at that. I loved reading the book, but I am very new to audiobooks, and maybe it's just different to how I imagined it in my own head.
