I love it!!

I've been binge listening to this series. Fun. Sexy. and a great narrator. If you love vampires, romance and action you'll love this series.

Ehh

Not as good as the first. VERY predictable. Sex scenes were ridiculously long. The word sardonic way overused.

What made the experience of listening to Twice Tempted the most enjoyable?

Characters that are funny, plot lines that are evolving and the story always continues.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twice Tempted?

Leila is fiesty and a good foil for Vlad. Vlad loves her but sees love as a weakness his enemies can exploit. If you liked Halfway to the Grave by the same author you will enjoy this series.

What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tavia Gilbert is spot on with her interpretation of Vlad's accent.

Twice the Heat

Well let’s just turn up the fire and heat. And that is what happens with the second book of this series. Book 2 has more action and the heat is definitely turned with Vlad and Leila relationship. More interesting characters are introduced which has you thinking what ‘s next. You finally start to feel the fire between Vlad and Leila. A sexy strong alpha male who finally has to work a little for the woman he loves.
Yes get it if you liked book 1. I for one am looking forward to book 3.

Steamy and Exciting Action

While some of the angsty emotions of why won't he say he loves me were a little annoying, overall the story was entertaining. There was a good balance of excitement and mystery among with some very steamy scenes to keep it all interesting.

I would definitely suggest listening to or reading the books about this couple before reading this one. The books about Bones and Cat are a good precursor as well, but I only listened to a couple of those.

stellar as ever

how have I never written a review for this book before? I've read it at least 5 times. first rented as a library book, then bought on my kindle, and now Tavia has read it to me on audible multiple times. i can't get enough of this serious, Layla and Vlad are my fav couple in Jeaniene's universe. Also Tavia is the most fantastic narrator I have found, give this book a listen, you won't be disappointed
